Whenever I was round my Mum's best friends house I always used to watch it with her son who was big on wrestling. That was around 1998 and I've been watching ever since then.

i got one of the 6 small figures with a ring set Christmas 1999, and then luckily Channel 4 began showing Heat in January. then the Rumble in 2000 was on and i was hooked Hell yeah! Heat on Channel 4. I remember seeing the promo for the Street Fight on Heat before the Rumble and it was the most dramatic thing ever to me, I was just like "I am NOT missing this!". I really miss WWE on channel 4 Memories eh...

My cousins used to watch it, and I liked pretty much anything they liked as a kid. I've been a wrestling fan my entire life. Pretty much the same for me..

We've had too many of these threads lately.
How many years have you been watching wrestling?
When did you first start watching wrestling?
How did you get into it?
What was your first event you watched?

My mom got my dad WWF Wrestlemania Arcade for the Super Nintendo, for his birthday in March of 1997. He played it with me some but after a short while it was just me playing it. I think I was confused and thought that WWF was PPV only so it wasn't until a few months later when I started watching it. I have a video of me at age 11 on my birthday. I was opening up presents and got my very first wrestling figures - Superstars Series 3. The funny thing is I didn't know who Mankind and Owen Hart were since they weren't in the game. Soon after I started watching and the first Raw I can recall was when HBK superkicked Bret in the wheelchair (5/12/97).

I'm going to get involved with it in 2 years time once I've got my Masters Degree in Architecture and Interior Design. The WWE UK Office has already been in touch, saying they would be keen to have my services in the Design area, which will focus on Stage Designs, and Visual Concept ideas. Should be a good way to get involved with the business I suppose, and a well paid job. Dude, that's what I plan on doing. After high school of course. Anyway my like of wrestling stems back to when my brother brought home a game on the playstation. It was WWF Smackdown 2. I played that game for hours on end. I loved that game so damn much. I still play it to this day. But the very first full wrestling show I watched was WWF Summerslam 2001 on VHS, Christmas 2001 morning. I loved the invasion angle as a kid and thought it was all totally real.

In 1997 when I was 6 or 7 years old I was flicking through channels one Monday night. RAW was on, I watched all of it and was hooked ever since. It's amazing how wrestling has changed so much since then.

I started watching WCW in late 1997. After that, in around May/June 1998, I was told that WWE was better by a neighbor. So I checked out, and I enjoyed it alot better.

A man forced me to watch it. He had a gun to my head so I watched it. Been hooked ever since.....
Seriously though, I just turned on the TV and saw Kane getting thrown into fire so I just started watching from there!
