Wow! A friend of mine just told me this.I attended the WWE show at the savemart center in Fresno, ca, last night on 2-15-08 with my two sons and two friends. the show was great. after the show we went outside to see the wrestlers as they getting into their vehicles to leave, my kids were calling the wrestlers to wave bye to them. all the wrestlers we seen leaving (triple h, ric flair, jeff hardy, randy Orton) were cool they all waved as they got into their vehicles. Mr. Kennedy on the other hand proved that in real life away from the ring he is also a self centered jerk, who does not care for his fans. my 5 year old son kept calling Kennedy to wave to him, finally Kennedy looked up at him as he was putting his luggage into his limo and yelled at my 5 year old son "why don't you shut up already". What a superstar to yell at a 5 year old child that just wanted to wave bye to him. Could this have been a "Roid(steroid) Rage" moment for Mr. Kennedy? Kennedy is a disgrace to the WWE in my eyes, here he couldn't handle the stress of a 5 year old boy calling his name to wave bye to him. i grew up watching the WWE since i was a kid, i paid good money to take my kids to see their favorite WWE superstars, and this is how he treats my son. THIS WAS NOT PART OF THE SHOW. the only fans around were me my sons and two good friends, and maybe a few other people. Does Kennedy hate children?Who knows, but i know Kennedy hurt my 5 years old sons feeling. Kennedy should not be part of this company that is for family entertainment.

He was in character, most likely.

I can see you view on this but Kennedy is a heel and he has to stay in character when is in interacting with fans.

I doubt it's Roid Rage. If you've seen him lately, he looks like he's off them.
He is just playing his character. If you want to see more yelling at kids, watch some Chuck Taylor videos.

In all seriousness though, he most likely was staying in character. A lot of wrestlers do that... especially at live events when there are tons of wrestling fans around... I can understand if Kennedy was at a Restaurant, eating and your kid was calling him and he said "shut up"... no reason to stay in character at a restaurant since a lot of others wouldn't know who he was and would look down at him for yelling at your kid... But come on... you're at the show... he's a wrestler... tons of fans are around... He could have said more vulgar things like " off kid and take your bitch Mom with you" Or he could of flat out ignored your boy... But the fact he actually responded to a whiny kid with "shut up already"... It almost sounds like the heel character he plays on Television... He was probably acting the part and you should really be more happy than upset that he actually acknowledged your kid.

Probably in character, but who really knows.

Some guys just stay in character all the time. When Steve Austin was a heel in the Alliance I asked him for an autograph and he said he would use my hair to grease my pen up and then shove it up my ass......I thought it was kinda funny, but maybe that's just me, lol

Wow, it never ceases to amaze me how inconsistent people are. Randy Orton ignores a fan or calls him a jerk, then he must be an ass. Kennedy yells at a 5 year old kid to shut up, he's just staying in character.

Obviously, he was just staying in character. I laughed when you said that you thought it was "roid rage".

Faces will usually wave, but i mean cmon, they're the good guys. How out of character would he look if the kid was yelling and he waved with a smile?

Oh of course, Kennedy was just staying in character. Had Randy Orton done this, it would be World War III.

I don't care how old the kid is, it's just further proof Kennedy is a God.

LOL. Kennedy rules. I would have said the same thing if a bunch of annoying kids were constantly yelling my name.

Of course you have to bring 'roids into the situation. Steroids have nothing to do with this situation. Its just an educated guess, but he was probably in character, and if he was acting like a douche, well, hes aloud. I mean, if I was a wrestler I would try to talk to as many fans as I could, but truth be told, I hate little kids. Im sorry thats just me, and maybe he was just annoyed. =/

LMAO! He is a HEEL! He probarbly wanted to stay in kayfabe. I'm sure your son or any other five year old would only hate Kennedy more for doing this, which was probarbly Ken's goal. It just means your son's favourite will only look better to him when they job Kennedy out to them for the 50000th time...
It's great professionalism if you ask me.
