Well due to a cable -up I was unable to watch Mania until the encore presentation today. So I will give my thoughts and let me first and foremost say it was a spectacular PPV. Finlay/JBL was a great way to open up the PPV and they provided a very stiff, entertaining brawl from top to bottom. JBL's best match since his return and the finish was good enough. MITB was amazing, just simply amazing, everyone played their part. Shelton, Morrison & Carlito each brought out the high spots, Morrisons moonsault and walking up the wobbly ladder were great and I can't even really describe Shelton's sick spot, it was wow an image that stands out, the reactions were great from Carlito as well. MVP has undeniable charisma and his spot where he had the match won and Matt Hardy came out was just great and I am just glad that this phenomenal feud is recommencing. Jericho also brought out some nice spots and showed he can definantely return to the main event status, I am really glad he didn't take the match to someone who could use it, and CM Punk is definantely the man with the most to gain and I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome and loved it, look forward to seeing what happens. Phenomenal Match. The HOF segment was what it is, great and for the most part they are deserving inductees, can't wait to see it in full on DVD. Batista/Umaga wasn't really anything, it was short and the right guy went over, nothing I can really comment about it cooled the crowd down. I enjoyed the "U-U-Umaga" chants from the first 3 rows or so. Kane/Chavo, no comment really. Now onto Flair/Michaels, when I watched the package video and Flairs promo It struck more then it ever had that Ric Flair was going to never wrestle again. The match was absolutely phenomenal stuff, match of the night by far. They told a tremendous, emotional story, that had me wrapped up in every second of it, Flair & Michaels brought everything they had to the table and delivered the wrestlemania moment of the night. They wrestled a Flair style match to perfection. The finish was just done to perfection and Michaels was perfect in it. I gotta say Michaels is a true professional he hugged Flair then got out of the ring and left the moment to Flair, and I have no shame in saying I shed a tear for this. Thank you Ric Flair for all the memories. Ugh why did Bunnymania go for so long, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but Maria and Ashley really have no business being in a wrestling ring. There were some highlights though, watching people walking around during this match, and then the power going out, plus DOGG laying out Santino was fun as well. It was fine for a cool down match after Flair/Michaels. I was surprised and pleased that the Triple Threat wasn't main eventing, the 3 men delivered a really good fast paced match that had me guessing, I was shocked that Orton retained, even though I'm a major Orton detractor I was fine with it and thought the finish was done well even though I don't think Orton was the right guy or that WWE's attempts at making him a legit main eventer are working. Still the match was real good and I'm absolutely fine and intrigued, I couldn't belive Orton had won tbh. Show/Mayweather was really good for what it was, I thought it was entertaining stuff. I like that everyone was protected here and I dunno Mayweather plays a good heel. So glad that Taker/Edge was main eventing. The match was incredible. It started out slow but it was all part of the storytelling and it was great storytelling. Edge is gold and I loved his promo earlier in the night, it was great stuff. After about the half way point the match picked up incredibly and was just great stuff, I'm glad they were given alot of time to tell their story and they told it well. The finishing stretch was great, edge of your seat stuff and my face was in my hands. The finish was well done and I actually at times thought that Edge was walking away with it. IMO Taker's best Wrestlemania match in the streak to date and a deserving Wrestlemania main event. Simply a phenomenal show, almost from top to bottom with only a couple of hiccups along the way. Here is my order of best match to worst and not in terms of in ring work, in terms of the emotion, the story told and just the overall atmosphere. Flair/Michaels Edge/Taker MITB Triple Threat Show/Mayweather Finlay/JBL Umaga/Batista Bunnymania Kane/Chavo

Yeah Charles Robinson was motoring down the ramp.
How great was it that he got to ref Ric Flair's final match as well.

Everyone saw the show, so there is no need for me to recap.
I'll just say that Flair/Michaels was worth the $750 ticket I paid alone. I got some great pics of Flair, Orton, HHH, and a few others. I had a great time at the HOF, and the crowd at the show was great. I need to try and find myself in the crowd once the dvd comes out.

I was there and had a ton of fun.
I was in Section 237...the ticket only costed me $50..and I could honestly say I wouldn't have traded my spot for any other " seat". I never actually sat down, but stood near the entranceway just below me. It was great. Perfect view of the stage and ramp. Could barely see the ring, but the huge stage screen was right there so I didn't miss any of the action. Then I would run down and literally be right above the wrestlers as they( the losers in all the matches minus Ric) headed backstage through the side.
Interesting to note, that of all the losers who headed backstage, Edge( being carried by Hawkins/Ryder) was the only one who stopped, turned around, and soaked in the atmosphere. Just something cool I picked up on that definitely made me realize how huge this was to him.
During the beginning of the Show/Mayweather match, a HUGE fight broke out in the floor seating. Like a ton of security got involved. It was actually more entertaining than what was going on in the ring.
Taker/Edge started really slow, but the second half was amazing, nail-biting stuff. I was the only one around me rooting for Edge and I was marking out and flipping out over every near-fall. I loved how the lady next to me ( when the Edgeheads came out) said something along the lines of " That's right Edge, go ahead and cheat. That's the only way you ever win!" It was hilarious. Very upset over Edge losing as it's yet ANOTHER wasted title reign, but what are you gonna do...Edge will never have a long title reign I guess.
I was very glad to see Edge/Taker main eventing, as I would have bet any amount of money in the world the triple threat was getting the last slot. Made sense, as you can't end Wrestlemania with the heel winning. Orton retaining was a huge shocker. My least favorite of the three, but it's not like I particularly like any of them, so I don't care.
Was also surprised about Flair losing, I honestly thought this was just a swerve and that he'd somehow pick up the win. Incredible match with phenomenal story-telling. I've never really liked Flair, but even I got into this match very much.
ECW Title " Match" was by far the dumbest thing I've seen in a loong time. It was so nice seeing Chavo get pushed for once, and it's all for naught. Chavo's title reign was built perfectly, and it seems so stupid to waste it all like this. Kane is so boring, hasn't changed at all over the past 5 years. He's bloated, out-of-shape, and mails it in EVERY SINGLE WEEK. He would have made a nice notch in Chavo's repitoire, but him going over( specially lile that) was just asinine.
So lets see...my two favorites( Edge & Chavo) lost their World Titles, and my absolute least favorite( Punk) is now Mr. MITB. Overall, despite the fact that everybody I wanted to win..ended up losing( minus JBL), it was an incredible event. Maybe it was just because I was there live, I dunno..definitely worth the 20+ hours of driving both ways.

I love how Triple H completely no-sold Orton's punt to the head. The same punt that put guys like RVD, Cena Sr, Matt Hardy, etc out of action could only keep 'H down for 1 second before he jumps back up..

Section 308 here. Opposite end of the firework accidents, but I faced the camera, right below the pyro-technician. My friend got a firework remnant in his iced tea, and I was singed pretty good by Mayweather's pyro. Luckily, I was wearing a thick hoodie.
The atmosphere of the Citrus Bowl was freaking awesome. The experience beat the crap out of WM 11 for me. I also did something I always wanted...I danced an Irish Jig while Hornswoggle's music was playing and damn near fell off the ledge...lol.
HBK-Flair was everything I expected, and is my new favorite live match. The Hall of Fame was an experience I wouldn't trade for anything. I knew I wouldn't make it back in time for the TV broadcast, so I called my mom from my seat and simply said - "If you want to see what your son is up to tonight, tune into the USA Network at 11 pm." Afterwards, she filled me in on what happened on-air.
I was glad I was able to attend the last active days of my favorite wrestler. I had the time of my life. If you saw a guy with brown hair, glasses, a hoodie with a snowman on the back, and a WM 11 Lawrence Taylor t-shirt...that was me.
