Matt Hardy if you look is near Simon Dean, he starts backing up in to the corner.

Hardy was the one in the wrong. You should do as you are told. Unacceptable behaviour on his part. yummy sig bro. ;D

Why is this such a big deal? I doubt that anyone would care who Undertaker gives a chokeslam/tombstone to. Matt Hardy was wrong in that case, because it wouldn't have affected his push, but why did it have to be him taking it. The guys in the ring were mostly jobbers and guys on the lower card and Hardy was at least a mid-carder at the time. Plus, there were SD guys who weren't in action at the PPV and still weren't in the ring with everyone else (Hardcore Holly, LOD, etc.). Overall, I think that Hardy should've listened, but he shouldn't have gotten as much heat as he did. Besides, although a feud with Undertaker would've helped elevate his career, I don't think he was too dissapointed.
