people die every damn day I liked sherri and they did acknowledge her death, move on.... Yeah, but the point is, the majority of them didn't want to because they would rather plug a ing storyline for sakes. How ing cold and twisted is that?? Give me a break man.

They were put in a difficult decision and made the choice they thought was the best. Maybe it wasn't the smartest, but it's no reason to kill them or be so harsh. Sherri hasn't even been on WWE programming in over a year, they don't have NEED to acknowledge her death but in the end they did. Just be glad they made any note of it.

I was talking to my friend about this, and even before this article got out, I bet him that someone somewhere fought tooth-and-nail to get the graphic put up.
It really makes you wonder where the priorities lie in WWE. Who cares about trivializing an already-pathetic storyline? Someone very important, someone in your Hall of Fame no less, tragically died. And you can't even bother to put up a graphic honoring her because you don't want it to interfere with your latest idiotic storyline.

How come people are bringing up this whole, "Sherri was good to the WWE" thing? You mean the WWE was good to her? How is someone "good to WWE"? WWE pays them, and brings them in for shows and publicity...and not to mention hands them contracts....not the other way around. I do agree though that its disgusting that they didnt want to acknowledge it. By the way, what hole did all these Sherri fans crawl out of?

Well they should have acknowledged it and at the end of the day, they did. They're a company, and right now the 'Vince McMahon's death' is the best storyline they've got going. Thinking they should drop it just because someone else in the company died is ridiculous. It's quite sickening that there were people opposed to paying a tribute, but as long as they did, there's no point complaining. It was unfortunate timing to be honest, but you can't expect them to let all the hype they've built up just go can you? It's a tough decision for them, and if they weren't in the middle of the Vince angle, then obviously more respect would be given. But they paid respect and continued the story, so I guess everyones happy, right?

I should've known that Kevin Dunn was behind Sherri getting nothing, but a graphic saying she died. That man is no good and he's one of the things that is wrong with wwe. Like Graze said, he should be sent to Iraq to get his ass blown up!

Andre got a 10 bell salute because he was Andre the Giant. He is on a special level as one of the greatest of all time. If you saw him in the 70's and 80's you know how special he was. They even started the Hall of fame with Andre. He did so much for the business for decades.

For me it makes no sense, most fans kno mcmahon isnt dead! A 10 bell salute might have been a bit strong, but definately more than a graphic before a diva match. I mean it takes something as subtle as the divas wearing some kinda martel attire or shirt! particularly as the divas have nothing to do with mcmahon dieing! Nothing I honestly believe that even if one of the ultimate greats had passed WWE would still have continued with this stoopid storyline

Honestly, I can't get worked up about WWE (or any wrestling promotion, big or small) doing heartless things and seeming cold and uncaring when one of their own dies. I've seen it so often that I expect it now.
I know that when push comes to shove, WWE is about themselves first and foremost, and the wrestlers are largely (with a few exceptions) cast away when their bodies give out or their gimmicks get stale.
It's been happening for the entire 25 years I have watched wrestling, so I didn't expect any extra consideration for Sherri... especially since she died at a time that was inconvenient to a current storyline. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying it's totally expected and unsurprising.
