Well… since you asked… Let's talk about that big pop Brandi got at Mania. I'm sure that meant alot to her We need that Brandi in figure form. The smile on her face when she received that reaction… puts a smile on my face every time I go back and watch it.

Sami definitely miscast as the underdog for the umpteenth time, for a title he's won before. And why are we showing heels being cheered? First match of the night with actual heat too, not just for the commentators. It only lasted the last three minutes of the match when fka WALTER was antagonizing the crowd but it was something.
We get to... LMAO. Haven't seen such blatant WWE revisionism since the actual, 100% grassroots YES Movement.
Like how can the Shield be invoked as a reason Reigns is miffed? You don't give legitimacy to the heel. Why bring up the leukemia thing again? Why run thru the accolades of Rock and Roman? Why is WWE commentary so reticent against setting firm babyface/heel lines? So little focus is on the next "face of the company", it's ludicrous.
Nice bit of deflection and distraction to start Night 2. Major spamfest title match, wonder if it was an inside dig. Punk pretty dry on commentary. Might it have been better for Drew to self-own rather than Punk actually beating him down. Played too much into the dumb.
Women have stolen the show the past few years, but they didn't reach those lofty expectations. Still pretty good matches but again, lacking heat. Lynch-Ripley was missing loads of trash talk. People were solidly behind Bayley but not due to the story.
A ball of loose yarn, not a coherent story to be found. Similar build of Danny's build at the end of GOT. Are D&D part of creative now? Literally no motivation to hate Dat Dude. No added pressure on Rhodes, despite his "last chance". What is the point? Straight redux of 39, no new wrinkles or complexities. "Focus on the man" line would've been integral if utilized at all over the past year, as a certain wise guy has said here. Feels a bit too even, same as last year. Lots of double downs.
Even when Michael Cole attempts to tow the babyface line, he is outnumbered at the booth. Plus his skills don't exactly idle at "above average" levels. Commentary certainly has noticeably better direction throughout. Completely bearable, and that's saying something for Pat Mac.
Really getting WM 31 vibes late into this, both with the forced narrative and random run-ins. The Shield edging lmfao. Also at thee commentators just standing around afterwards.
Overall, it's no lower than seventh all time personally. Strong card, nearly didn't have much a miss. I will say, I don't watch the weekly product, haven't for a few years, going back to the old regime. There's something in WWE's presentation that makes it feel hollow and processed. Fast food, confectionary sugar, just an artificial product. Fails to make me connect with any particular competitor, so I don't feel anything while watching.
