This isn't a dream match now. There's no reason for Austin to jeopardize his health again, and at age 45, it's reasonable to assume that Punk only has a couple of years left. If he's not wrestling for the RAW belt at this coming WM, WWE wouldn't be capitalizing on his current momentum.

Personally, I'd love to see it!
Yes, as others have posted, this is about ten years too late..... It's not the "dream match" that it would have been ten years ago....
But..... But..... but.......
Imagine the promos.

Austin/KO was pretty much the best send off match that Austin could’ve possibly of had at his age so I have no interest in seeing Austin/Punk since that. Austin vs Owens was a sweet sendoff

Has there ever been a heel vs heel match where neither was cheered? Super curious to see how that would work out. Shawn Michaels versus Rick Martel at SummerSlam 1992. I am excited to have Punk back in the WWE and will always love Austin, but have zero interest in seeing them have any kind of a match. Austin vs Punk would have been huge in 2013

Austin vs Punk would have been huge in 2013 Absolutely. Although even then Austin wasn't in a spot to really compete in the ring. People forget he has been retired since 2003. I know he had the "match" with Owens last year, but that was obviously more of a segment than a legitimate WrestleMania match.

Watched the Owens-Austin segment once, and I'm never including it in my Mania watches going forward. Essentially the same as what Rock and Cena did with the Wyatt Family at 32.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, no. Austin Creed / Xavier Woods, maybe. Austin Theory, yes.

The match went nearly 15 mins, and both guys took some good bumps.

I enjoyed Austin/Owens and Rock/Cena/Wyatt Family tbh That's well and good. I fail to appreciate those things that weren't billed as actual matches. I feel they pointed out no care for full-time guys that couldn't pull one over guys not prepared for a fight or anything, especially the retirees or those rushing back from injury. With 39 years of Mania + HOF's to get in with about two months, you have to trim some fat lol

Bray on WM with Rock/Cena will always go down as a epic moment, much better then a random match. Millions & millions watching Bray with two big legends/icons.

Let's do it. What's there to do? I don't think Rollins should wait until Mania
