I wish the babyfaces did camo facepaint. Before the show I was hoping for facepaint/warpaint too but then came to the realization it would look supremely stupid for Orton's 18 month return to be capped off by him wearing facepaint, similar in nature to if he was the only one on the team not wearing it. Also kinda kills the story they were running of him not being there until the last second. Can't be missing all day and then have enough time to put face paint on at the same time.

Actually makes a lot of sense. Though he didn’t have the camo gear either.

That pop for Punk has gotta be up there with the goats, loud as hell. Put Randys to shame. I have probably watched it 10-15 times whether on my own or showing someone who hadn't seen it. It was amazing. They did it so masterfully too bc I 100% thought the show was closing without him showing up. I was just laying there, playing on my phone and listening as the winners celebrated and Cole was commentating. I seen the copyright logo pop up and kind of groaned to myself. Great PPV but was hoping for Punk and then at the last second his music hit. I stood up and stared open mouthed, couldn't believe it. Haven't been like that since Styles debut, Brocks return to F5 Cena or Rock being announced to host WM in 2012. Those were all genuine "I feel like a kid again" reactions. THAT is what being a wrestling fan is supposed to feel like. Yep Punk really destroyed Orton but both were great tbh. I'd say Punk is up there with Rock in 2011 and Brock in 2012...those were Insane. Amazing stuff.

That pop for Punk has gotta be up there with the goats, loud as hell. IMO? it was as loud as Austin's on Jan 4th 99. It was insane.....it sustained itself for ages too. Masterfully handled by HHH & co. I enjoyed listening to Cornette's thoughts about it too. Amazing stuff... gotta be up there with Austin in 99, Rock in 2011, Brock in 2012... just Amazing

Overall a great show. I liked the the women's War Games more than the men's tbh.
The highlight were Punks & Ortons return.
Gunther vs Miz was good and so was Santos vs Dragon

Have to be careful when relying on WWE/F numbers, they always fudge their numbers. Also, there is a big difference between sales and profit. If the ticket prices cost more today than they did two decades ago, that doesn't necessarily mean they made more of a profit. If the arena costs more than it did 20 years ago to rent, then the revenue they made from sales takes a hit.

I'd say its all believable based on the facts that they have been doing it nearly every month since mid 2021, always breaking previous records & setting new ones etc. The Attitude Era numbers will always be the craziest lol, the business was something else.

Survivor Series has been the adopted ginger out of the big four PPVs for at least the last decade. As much as I dislike the War Games match, its really given it the fresh coat of paint it desperately needed. I can see why they were planning on scrapping it all together several years ago.

Don’t throw shade at them when every company does this sort of thing. Obviously prices change over the years

Or people who watch it a day later since its on the cock (pause)

Nor was I saying, or implying, that the WWE is the only company that does this.
