Hear me out.. Collision opens to a raging Chicago crowd with chants of "CM PUNK! CM PUNK!" Punks music hits, the fans go absolutely nuts. Jungle Boy walks out smiling and holding a mic. He tells them all to "cry me a river" as they bombard the ring with trash and chairs. AEW's greatest heel is born. The end. This would be amazing but if I could change something,do it tomorrow night at All Out after the Starks and Dragon match lol. Btw,love your pic with Jungle Man with his Real World Championship. Who knew this was gonna be the hero that free us from Punk.

I am not trying to be argumentative with anyone here but... if a normal person at their 9-5 job got taunted by a coworker and then went into the lunchroom and started choking them in front of witnesses, that person would be going to jail.
I don't care how much you love or hate CM Punk either way. Objectively, he's a hell of a talent in the business and personally I feel cheated out of the moments we could have had.
But the guy was genuinely dangerous. You can't DO that and keep your job. TK bent over backwards to accommodate Punk and Punk literally still chose violence anyway.
It's unfortunate that it came to this, but TK had no other choice.

At the end of the segment the camera cuts to someone watching it on a monitor, laughing. That person turns around & it's Jeff Hardy. He looks at the camera & says "Kind of hurts, doesn't it?"

Wonder what this means for the Supreme Edition figure?! Depends how far into production his figures are. If they are ready to go or close, they likely release them and split royalties with Punk. If they haven’t started producing them yet, then they will likely be canceled.

"The Elite" had it in for CM Punk since DAY 1. They picked fights with him and ran off their only draw because they are jealous that CM Punk is more over than the guys who are only capable of unnecessary violence, and the 5'5" trampoline wrestlers.
What a way to run a company.

Kahn trying to get back some authority.
Really this kid needs to learn that you can’t be the boss and be everybody’s darling at the same time. Running a company doesn’t work that way. First time I see him making an adult decision. Eager to see how it ends. The problem was not CM Punk but the lack of behavior in the locker room. Punk behaved like this because he could. He was just the most extreme. They really need to organize their backstage and introduce strict rules. Things like this don’t happen in WWE and there is a reason for this. I get that AEW wants to be different but sometimes it doesn’t hurt to look how others handle something.

CM Punk at Survivor Series "January 27th, 2014, I left professional wrestling. November 25th, 2023 I'm back!" For three months.

Punk screwed Punk. And honestly I don’t need to see him on my TV ever again. Like I said when he first signed with AEW I really didn’t miss him for all those years he was gone so while it was nice to see him back, I would probably loose interest in him after a few months. And I was right. This time I just don’t need or care to see him back in a wrestling ring again.
far as the figures go normally I would agree depending on how far along into production it is it would get released. But I do feel like this is more like an Elite Series 1 Hardy scenario where he was fired and AEW could have it pulled like the WWE did with the Hardy.

Time for The Elite to work Saturdays. I'd be cool with that.
I'm a huge Punk fan and wanted to give it all a second chance. But their biggest show and historic crowd record was all overshadowed by some dumb backstage incident involving Punk. Ridiculous

From things I read about what happened over the past year involving Punk, it seems like Punk says the truth about the company/wrestler in said company, that wrestler or wrestlers get upset and confront Punk, they then try to fight Punk, and Punk fights back and wins the fight, and he's the one to blame.
It happened again just in the last few weeks with Dylan McKay Jr. and his want to use real glass in a match.
CM Punk was AEW's biggest draw. And they handled him horribly. I am sure Punk is to blame too in all this, but over all, it's ridiculous he got fired over fights and physical involvements that he didn't even start.

Wrestlers aren’t normal people and it’s not a 9-5. It’s the circus and they’re carnys. Lots of testosterone. F around, find out.
