So I became "sold out" for AEW when Dynamite debuted on TNT in October 2019. All Out '19, DoN '19, All In '18, all of that was kind of "before my time," but currently watching All In on YouTube. So much talent early on, definitely not a shocker that the promotion has become the revolutionary alternative that it has.
When did you become "sold out" for AEW? Do you go back to All In '18, or did they catch you a little later?

The AEW PPVs that happened in the spring and summer of 2019 didn't sell me on AEW. To me it looked like ROH with money behind it.
It wasn't until I watched their Dynamite show on TNT and got to see Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross together was I sold on AEW. It felt like WCW Nitro style of wrestling then, so I was hooked.
However, lately my love for AEW isn't that high. A lot of what I did like of AEW is just not happening anymore. So now I watch it out of habit.

I think they need that "next big hit" to position the momentum in their favor. They had it when they debuted Punk and Danielson in August/September, but I feel like Cody was WWE's revenge. I'm not sure what Tony's next shot will be, but I'm sure he'll cook something up. Keith Lee, Jeff Hardy, Joe, Fish, O'Reilly, ROH, all of that was really big, but overall I think the ball has been in WWE's court since February.

It was All In for me. I had only been back into wrestling since late 2017 at that point, having been out from about 2011/2012ish. I had originally gotten back in because I saw some interview (It may** have been Sasha on Hot Ones, I don't remember when that aired, I just know it was Sasha) and I was like "Oh damn, the women are relevant now too? Maybe things are worth watching again.". Midway through 2018 I looked up what impact was like, because I was never a WWE exclusive viewer, I loved WCW, ECW, etc. My first match in Impact I saw was Fenix vs. Rich Swann. It blew my mind that such good wrestling existed on scales that small. Someone on our local FB wrestling fans page posted something about All In, and I looked it up. I watched the whole show and my mind was blown. I then started binging all the old ROH and NJPW stuff I could find, PWG, etc, etc. I think I probably caught up about 6 years worth of history in 6 months flat prior to Double or Nothing.
I haven't loved every single thing AEW has done, far from it. I'll continue to be upset at how little attention the women still get, even if it's increasing. I don't always love the way feuds are booked. I.e. Moxley's build to Revolution having to go through each inner circle member individually was quite dull to me. Not every mid-card feud needs to be a six month affair where I don't get to see them wrestle anyone outside of the two stables really. But overall, I'm still completely All In, and there's nothing out there I'd rather watch.
So short answer, it was All In that did it for me, and it opened me up to a world of wrestling I was unfamiliar with.

When Punk returned. Was there, felt that energy, and have followed since. Before that, there were bits and pieces I enjoyed, but it couldn’t keep my interest.

I watched everything from the beginning but I got to go to the first Dynamite and that just made me a bigger fan of the promotion.

While I watched from the beginning of Dynamite, it took a few months before I really got into it. Give or take, it started to really take off for me personally around the time frame of the Jericho Cruise in 2020.

I didn't enjoy AEW much in 2019. Around early 2020 I gradually became a fan and got WCW vibes which was cool. However at present it's become a little confusing. The rosters too big and each you see a new guy you've never heard off. The random matches are also a little annoying.
It's a great promotion that I fully support but it's far from perfect.

I was only watching indies at that point and if AEW hadn't started the pandemic would have made me stop watching wrestling altogether. Is the ol' Jacksonville fed perfect? Not at all, but they don't hate/torment/mock/disrespect their own fans and I always feel like my time was well spent after I watch.

When Jericho and Moxley were world champ is when I was big into AEW. My favorite moments are from around that time, especially with Brodie Lee and Cody being really hot around then. Sting, Christian, and CM Punk debuts were also a part of why I was really into it and pretty much made me a regular viewer of the show... I even went to see AEW live twice, which was super fun. That was the case for most of last year until a little bit after the Daniel Bryan and Adam Cole debuts and my interest has fallen off a ton recently. The influx of debuts, some awful storylines and feuds, and talent being handled in a not-so-great manner at times has made me less of a committed viewer and more of someone who will catch the highlights the next day.

Night one. I like pro wrestling and it's easier to watch than MLW or ROH.

I watched All In and it made me notice this could actually happen if they had a backer. Then I checked out all of the ppvs leading to the first dynamite and getting really excited. 3-4 years later and I’m back in love with pro wrestling when I was almost completely checked out of all wrestling

I've been bought in since the initial parking lot press conference. Once Jericho showed up, I figured this was something that would have some legs. He was still in a point in his career that he had cache that he wouldn't attach himself to something without there being some meat on the bones.
The actual product hooked me. It was pretty clear early on that this was what I wanted out of pro wrestling. I got back into watching around 2015. but couldn't stomach WWE, NJPW just didn't click for me, and Impact seemed a little too campy for what I wanted. Aside from the ongoing issues around the women's division, AEW has really been right on the mark for what I want to see out of pro wrestling.

Around the time Dynamite started. I got to go to Dynamite #2, and at the time, the whole thing felt different and new with enough familiarity in the ring to really hook me.
Now, AEW is a promotion that employs a lot of talent that I count myself a fan of, but that fails to grip me as a viewer.
