That article looks like it's mostly an opinion piece. I don't think he'll be showing up anywhere before his 90 day no compete is up.

I mean the article may be just a dude talking, but it's been pretty clear since he walked out that Jeff would come over. We won't see him until his 90 are up, but it's clearly why they're having Andrade take over the hfo. Sorry, the ahfo.

Stopped reading when the article said "AEW officials are talking with WWE officials to get Ieff out of his 90-day clause faster."

While I doubt the article, I donāt doubt he will end up there. Not a fan of it as all of this seems off. I also have zero desire to watch the Hardys in 2022. Just more tag teams that for some reason get more time over PNP.

But yeah, I respect what they've done, but this needs to be a very quick retirement tour for the Hardy Boyz.

Jeff ending up in AEW with Matt its inevitable. Hardy Boyz will be the greatest tag team of all time there too.
WWE is gonna have to pull something out of there @ss if they gonna get a chance to sell more t-shirts than Jeff Hardy.

Not someone or something I want to see. I have been saying for years Matt should have retired instead of going back to the WWE at WM that year. The guy could barely move then and has only gotten worse over the last 5 years. And I am sure father time catching up to Jeff is just around the corner as well. I donāt need to see him in AEW.

But AEW is an āalternativeā and āwonāt be signing every released WWE talentā š¤£ And they haven't? Be careful, someone is going to post a massive list of all the WWE names in AEW if you respond like that. There are a lot, but it really doesn't make a difference? I'm not sure where else people expect talent to go / what they expect them to do, especially ones that can perform well. I don't like to comment on this stuff too much anymore but the tribalism behind the AEW vs. WWE argument is so over the top it's almost more exhausting than some of the wrestling is. The fact of the matter is WWE has been horribly booking Legends for years and years, especially ones that can still perform. Jeff may be a little bit slower or whatever but I'd still watch him over lots of newer talent or at least watch him have actually competitive matches with them because he's still convincing and good at it when given the chance to be. This idea that older talent should only be portrayed as losers who can't keep up is a waste of all of our time because a lot of them are still better wrestlers than a lot of the younger talent (wrestlers, not performers). To all AEW does terribly they've been doing a good job protecting Sting and making him look like he can keep up without pretending he's 30 years younger and it works. This compared to how he looked in WWE (a sideshow booked to always lose and come up short), how Kurt Angle looked in WWE during his most recent run (a sideshow booked to always lose and come up short), how Jeff has looked in WWE (a sideshow booked to always lose and come up short), it's a no brainer for him to want to be somewhere else where his stock won't just get so watered down for someone like Damien Priest or whoever else or for a convoluted, stupid storyline that no one likes him anymore. Maybe his way of going about it was over the top but the guy has earned the right to be portrayed how he wants and there are a lot of guys like him so I don't blame them for wanting to do what's best for their character/legacy. I know people are constantly excited over some of their newer talents/performers but they're never going to get any better or look any better just squashing legends over and over. There has to be some level of back and forth, consistently, before you shift gears to just making people lose without being able to get out from under it. It's a boring story at this point and has been way overdone. It's much more exciting to see legends used competitively like Edge and Christian this past year, and even those stories have had their issues. There is nothing wrong with newer talent winning against older talent, but there is nothing wrong with them LOSING either! It's happening right now with Punk and MJF. It makes newer talent look stronger eventually, keeps the older talent looking competitive and keeps the people that suck at this, can't keep up with quality psychology and have no business wrestling in general out of the picture completely and that's how it should be. The other element is whether people like it or not, Jeff was on par with Cena just a decade ago so he still is a huge star and huge draw when it comes to wrestling and whatever criticisms people have for him, he's actually around, capable of going toe to toe with top shelf talent and should be treated as such. It seems like a no brainer to me.

It seems like a no brainer to me. And I could respond with an even longer list of ex-WWE talents that aren't yet affiliated with AEW that have been released in the past calendar year ha ha. It's just a cheap, uneducated swipe falsely equating AEW with the TNA's and WCW's of the past. By and large, AEW's acquisitions line up more with Jericho and the Radicalz signing with WWE than anything. I've stated this in a discussion before, WWE was essentially the only company with a global footprint for an entire generation. For every star a casual fan might recognize, chances are it was because of their WWE affiliation. So now to chastise TK for scooping up available talents is laughable. Should a company that puts high value in tag team wrestling not snag one of the best, most recognizable, decorated, and popular tag teams in the past 30 years? Should guys and gals underutilized, mishandleld, and underappreciated in another company be on a DO NOT HIRE list merely to placate snarks, that will just move on to another asinine complaint like "AEW has no stars"? For those who complain that lower midcard talents aren't being re-signed (completely different from being cut during a time many companies weren't even running or just scraping by, btw) because of the new contracts, I'm happy that they hold Marko Stunt, Joey Janela, and Peter Avalon in such high esteem. Maybe Vince will scoop them all up and show TK how to successfully push stars š.

Holy crap. It wasnāt a dig at AEW.
It was pointing out the stupid comment made by Cody (or was it Jericho)
Iāve been a fan of most of the recent AEW signings. AEW is clearly becoming more of what NXT was. Which is a good thing for professional wrestling fans.

I assumed this when Matt/Schiavone did the Jeff Easter egg during Dynamite. They always drop little hints when someone's coming.

It might revive Matt's career as he's just been floundering ever since he went to AEW. I'd only want to see him tagging with Jeff at this point so it's great that Jeff will be signing.

I think AEW is the best place for Jeff to get one big run to ride it out. I think even AJ Styles would go one last great run there.
I think reunion run with the Hardyz; and Jeff and Punk if they're willing to turn Punk heel and have them have some real heated program would be amazing to resume something 13 years later.

Surprised no one has commented yet, but Jeff confirmed in an interview today that he found out this morning that he is in fact officially going to AEW.

He tried to walk it back and say it's just him manifesting it essentially, but I mean C'mon, we all know it's happening
