Some of y'all need to get out more. Or if you're really that upset, show Jazwares with your wallet and cancel your orders. Judging by the fact S2 has been sold out for a months on RSC, there will be people willing to step up and take your order. But it's WF - they won't. They'll continue to bitch. And continue to enjoy the smell of their own farts.

General question. I've seen a couple of people on here discuss it, so I just want everyone's opinion. Seems people like Jeremy and Cardona are OBSESSED with the secondary market when it comes to their items(AEW figs and MajorWFPod merch). What is this obsession all about? Especially for a new line like AEW, I feel like, logically, your primary market at Wal-Mart would be the top priority right? How do you guys feel about that secondary market mindset, and do you think that's hindering this line even further? Psychologically, people want a challenge, or something that's hard to get. I'm sure there is a multitude of reasons for this, like power, self-esteem, and the like. From the company, it's pure FOMO to hype the line and create sales. Honestly, I don't think we have a clue if it's hurting the market, at all, because there isn't much information out there on the line. I think that's why some are so frustrated. IMO, communication from a toy manufacturer seems like a luxury, so it doesn't bother me, really. I've heard the Mattel people are really good about it, though, so perhaps that's why it seems WCT are dropping the ball in that sense.

If it’s not something I wanted enough to preorder and I don’t find it locally then I just won’t have it in my collection. I don’t buy newly released figures from ebay or pay secondary market from 3rd party sellers. The only time I use eBay is for my wife and daughter or if there’s a figure from my childhood (70’s or 80’s.) that I want again and even that I haven’t done in about 10 years now.

They get no money at all from the secondary market and therefore should be ignoring it completely, maybe keep an eye on it to gauge which characters should get repaints, but retail should be 100% their priority. Jeremy is a blessing and a curse for Jazwares, he has experience with wrestling figures due to his time with Jakks, and therefore will be able to influence decisions, but his personal obsession with the secondary market will always cause Jazwares problems with the AEW line unless they can manage to reign him in.

Jakks got away with it because they squirted out hundreds and hundreds of figures and also they had the WWE line at the time it was most popular and the internet was still not a daily part of everyone’s lives. I had no idea how many 1 of figures they did during the classic superstars run because I was a dumb stupid little kid in the era right before everyone had a phone with internet

So in the end, I did go ahead and cancel my PO for Dustin. I only have Cody and Bubbly Jericho, and I'm going to sell them as well.

I got an update from Ringside....
Unfortunately one of the items on your order #xxxx has been delayed by the manufacturer.
That item is: AEW Unrivaled Series 2
The manufacturer Jazwares has informed us that due to factory production delays they will be sending us staggered shipments of Unrivaled Series 2 spread out over the next few months. Orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis based on the date your order was placed as shipments are received from the manufacturer.
Please be advised this is a manufacturer delay and is completely out of our control. We greatly apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
If you have any questions or would like to split your order please email cs@ringsidecollectibles.net or call us at 1-866-993-3448
Sincerely, Ringside Collectibles, Inc. Customer Service cs@ringsidecollectibles.net

Same email as bartong for me. I’m glad they’ve updated the situation for us, but it’s certainly not a good look for the Unrivaled series.

Debating on if I should cancel my order, or wait and sell them when I get them. Between them looking awful and distribution issues, I don’t have a need for these.

Over the next few months?!?!
Man this keeps getting better 😂. Please stop using the “Pandemic” excuse you guys. Every other toy company keeps going. Heck even Indie toy companies are doing fine. This is just very poor marketing. At this point, they don’t deserve to put any more pre orders up until series 2 is fulfilled.
No one come at me with that “you’re entitled” bull crap either. Many of us have faithfully given our money. We paid, we are owed. If you pay for a product then your indebted to that product. Otherwise we basically just gave charity Jazwares. So yeah we are entitled to what is owed to us.
