If it turns out to be a legends line I really hope we get koko b ware and the Mountie from it because those are 2 legends I’d like to upgrade from the jakks versions. I'd like those two as well. However, AFA has said that the Mountie is not likely because of the trademark held by the RCMP. Too bad, I think the Mountie would make a great elite figure, even an Ultimate Edition figure.

Let’s not have this spiral out of control. Network Spotlight was planned to end here. It wasn't cancelled. The new exclusive line will hit around June/July so there’s still plenty of time left for everyone to get the last wave. Once it’s revealed, I hope most of you get as excited about the new line as I already am. Wasn’t the point of introducing the store exclusives we can’t find to replace the exclusive sets we can’t find?

A WWE Ruthless Aggression series? You shouldn't have! Considering the documentary series announcement I don’t think this is too far off. Inject World's Greatest Tag Team into my veins.

On a positive note, I'm hoping the next line sticks and actually has a strong distribution(in my area at least).

That's what I was told as well but he actually never confirmed on Twitter just said not a collectors edition. Someone asked him yesterday and all he said was Hammer wasn't in Network series 3.😃

It's funny to me how people get up in arms about these exclusive lines being "canceled". Hall of Champions, Network Spotlight....at the end of the day, they're both Elite lines of four that feature current and legend characters. It's just a different box people. To me it signals a lack of direction and success at Mattel. You can't fault them for trying but it gets a bit exhausting keeping track of the various exclusive lines/figures, and honestly kills my interest except for must-haves.

I think that's sort of the point. These lines are "cancelled" to be replaced with something that is, for all intents and purposes, identical. Technically the TNF, Flashback, Network Spotlight, HoF, and HoC all had their own gimmick. But in most cases the figures were essentially interchangeable between lines. So why do they "cancel" and reboot the brands every two or three waves, when the product replacing it is the same damn thing? Brand identity and consistency matter in retail. It just feels like change for change's sake. I can't think of any other toy line structured like this. Black Series, Marvel Legends, Funko, and even going back to Classic Superstars - they've all essentially built their brand on uniformity. Sometimes it feels like Mattel tries to reinvent the wheel to their own detriment. Marvel Legends releases movie waves, plus Spider-Man Legends is on a different SKU. The objective here is to sell through as much as possible. Even ML has years-long pegwarmers out there.

What I hate about Walgreens, when I go search for any of the news ones, they still have the ones from YEARS ago. I think I went to one Walgreens where they actually have a shipment of new figures, so they must know what to put on clearance if it hasn’t sold for a very long time.

I could still go to several Walgreens and find agent venom, daredevil, namor...all exclusives that just didn’t sell well in certain areas. Hell, could still find some original hulk and thanks baf waves

Target. Never saw an NxT Drew or Aleister. Never saw RR Macho Man. Haven’t seen an e73 Aleister or 71 Adam Cole.
Plenty of Retro series 3, TT AJ and Finns, and probably even some e54 Cena and Charlottes.
Yeah pack triple H 2 per case....because he’s always on tv these days and never gets figures.......

I want to know who isn't getting network spotlights at their stores. The problem around here is that is all we get and at only 4 characters per assortment we have fewer people to pick from and the main lines consistently get skipped. I haven't seen nor collected a mainline elite from a Target in about 4 months or more.
