Network spotlight is a line I will not miss

i never expected Network Spotlight to be around a long time anyway. It wasn't even a "series" before, it was just one-off exclusives that filled some nice spots in our collections.

At least we got a Richter from this line.

Would people rather just have the main elite line, albeit with the odd store exclusives/variants? Or would people prefer these peripheral lines keep being given a shot? Serious question. In theory - having a dedicated line would increase the chances of these being easier to find on shelves (versus a single exclusive figure being in a regular elite line), but it hasn't always worked out that way. I'm thinking of the last NXT Takeover elite series as one example. Not just that, but the excitement of buying into a new line only for it to be cancelled would be gone. I feel like that would cut down on frustration.

There wasn’t ever squat I wanted in this line anyways
I would get excited for something new,..but honestly I just can’t trust how I’ll ever be able to get it.

Let’s not have this spiral out of control. Network Spotlight was planned to end here. It wasn't cancelled. The new exclusive line will hit around June/July so there’s still plenty of time left for everyone to get the last wave. Once it’s revealed, I hope most of you get as excited about the new line as I already am. A WWE Ruthless Aggression series? You shouldn't have!

I think whatever they do, it should be more legends focused on popular characters in iconic attires that will sell.
I feel like sometimes Mattel’s lineups are really lacking. I get that sometimes you need obscure figures, but the choices in that recent Royal Rumble wave were puzzling. I was thinking in my head all the iconic Rumble moments that haven’t been depicted in figure form yet. Bobby Lashley and Lita from 06/07, Macho Man from a run in, and the same old modern Rock was a weird hodgepodge of guys to include in a Rumble themed assortment.
With the new face printing and interchangeable heads/hands, possibilities for guys who have been done a ton are endless. Warrior, Austin, HHH, Michaels, Taker etc. I’m still waiting to update my Elite 1 Taker and Legends 1 Austin.

That sounds good I would love to see another legends line in Target but if the collectors are not buying them they want sale kids don't even know who half of those guys are.

Im hoping Valentine isnt in whatever new set target gets. Historically that means alot of needless hunting and mostly unsuccessful hunting at that. I dont care of i have to wait until elite 100. Id love to have the comfort of knowing i can pre order at ringside and have him delivered to me without issue.

I just hope series 1 (whatever it may be) has the Hammer and Crow Sting in there. That would be nice if we see hammer but we know that will never happen we will probably never see Kidman,Raven,Reese, sick boy,Saturn, Horace Hogan or Lodi but I bet bill has all of them in his personal custom collection 😁

A legends line would fly off the shelves now a days with the secondary market. The retro figures are usually the first to sell from new series when they hit the shelves. The double pack figures are always the ones remaining many times for several days to weeks. I'd guarantee if the newer set double packed hurricane he would be still be gone before seth Rollins.

Legends figures fly off the shelves when limited. I could find multiple diesel figures at several targets near me still. They’ve got to be popular legends in order to be accessible for everyone. Mattel have made that clear when they started doing the more obscure figures as store chases

This is why TRU was the GOAT. TRU had so much shelf space for WWE figures. There was much room for exclusives for figures that would never see the light of day today, especially the way distribution has been. Walmart and Target simply don’t have the space. We wouldn’t be having these issues if TRU was around. Just put all exclusives and chase figures on RSC or Amazon man. Just freaking do it.

If it turns out to be a legends line I really hope we get koko b ware and the Mountie from it because those are 2 legends I’d like to upgrade from the jakks versions.
