this has been going on for much longer then 2 months there have been little to no elites at Walmart for pretty much a year now. South Texas has had plenty of elites up until about mid January. I’ve been able to walk in and get everything up to 75. Pretty regularly. I don’t know what to tell you if it’s been that long for you. Talk to your store managers. Call the regional hub. Not everywhere’s a wasteland. well from what I read in these comments most stores are like mine and get an elite case sell them all in about a day or 2 and then go at least a month or 2 with empty pegs, no point in talking to managers because they don’t seem to care, so be lucky you live in area that stocks regularly.

We need to be cognizant of the fact that these boards don’t even represent a fraction of “most stores” (neither does my experience, for that matter). The sky is not falling. Give it a couple of weeks, it should normalize. Also, if your store manager sucks, call the regional or area office. Corporate numbers aren’t that hard to find.

Seems like everything has dried up after christmas .Walmart and Target do not restock elites or basics and they sell out when stock shows up in the stores here in maryland.

The local target in Illinois seems to keep stock decently (in my short time being a collector) but the WalMart seems like it does not.

adding to this....you'd think the line is truly selling so well...why are inventories so light and productions so low. i understand there is a balance between having too much and having not enough....but why did every Walmart get 3+ cases of Elite 68 (Summerslam wave) and the Top Picks....but not the other series
Same with Target....they get 2+ cases of Network Spotlight and Top Talents, and nothing forever. Then randomly get sets that are MONTHS behind. How much of this stuff is just sitting back in Target's warehouses? Shouldn't someone get a better system in place for them when ordering toys?

I do a fair amount of regional travel for work. In the past 3 weeks I've been to literally every Walmart or Target in Southwestern PA save for 2 or 3 stores. We're about stores across 6 different counties across urban, rural, and suburban locations in a pretty major metro market. Every store has been almost identical. Possibly a Bryan and/or Bella Elite or two. Some basics, including a fresh shipment of Top Talent basics. Possibly a couple Top Talent Elites. Nakamura UE. But mostly empty peg after empty peg.
Figure counts seem significantly off at every single store. Network Spotlight 2 nowhere to be seen despite Popfindr showing between 4-14 figures in stock at each store. The situation is laughable. No, the sky isn't falling. They're action figures. But I don't know how people can take a "move along, nothing to see here" attitude. Walk through a department store and tell me how many sections of the store will sit empty for weeks or months at a time.

Finally found elite 74 at 1/3 of my Walmarts. The only 2 only have a Nikki Bella and WMXXX Kevin Owens between them.

There's no way this is a positive, or even neutral, trend. No product means no revenue. Walmart and Target are too big to care, but Mattel needs any dollars it can get. They're at the mercy of retailers, and it seems safe to say that case orders have been cut significantly. Factor in that Mattel is either currently in or preparing to enter contract re-negotiations with WWE and this isn't a good look. WWE can't be happy about their pegs sitting empty, even if they're only marginally aware of the issue.

I'd like to see a SKU count as to what a distribution center receives and how far out its distributed. Like does the Walmart 10 miles get 2-3 cases of elites cause it's a quick easy fill but the one 45 miles out get 1 because they only fill one DC order every month or something.

What are you all talking about? According to BrickSeek, all the Walmarts around me have 6+ Elites. I haven't been to the stores to verify this, but I'm sure it's accurate. What well run store would allow the inventory numbers to be this off for months, and months, and months, without correcting it? Do you really thing a chain as big as Walmart is going to let empty pegs go unattended from October, through the holiday season, and now into the spring? No way! (for those that can't tell, that was a joke)
On a positive note, the Targets in my area have been doing a really good job so far this year. They all received the Spotlight and Royal Rumble waves. They have been consistent in receiving Main Line Elites and are receiving the WrestleMania Elites now.

I’m in the West Los Angeles area and three different Targets around me have gotten fresh cases of Elites in the last week!
Every single one got a case of Elite 68 - the Summerslam series.
...
If anyone needs a Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan from that series, you’re in luck. Maybe by this time next year, we’ll finally get Elite 71 and I can score an Ohno!

I wonder how Amazon affects things for Mattel. They always have a ton of stock and sell new figures quite cheap and discount a few dollars frequently. And the figures that are kinda older (61-68 and some even older) are dirt cheap with few exceptions

Maybe now with AEW getting there own figures and them looking really good it will light a fire under the people in charge of the wwe mattel. I hope walmart/target put them right next to wwe figures so we can see how well Jazwares figures are stocked.

I always see you complaining about Mattel, and how hard it is to find Mattel’s WWE figures. We both post in the WI findings, and you seem to find just about everything. You’ve even found Elite 74 and the Anvil. I guess I’m genuinely curious as to what your complaint with Mattel is, if you’re able to find almost everything you’re looking for.

Target on the other hand I have been very clear that i recently made my first purchase in close to a year. I also mentioned that I was in a major drought at walmart before this because the same store sent 3 cases of elite 68 after selling one. This is what my target looked like 3 weeks ago and looked that way for previous 3 months give or take. flic.kr/p/2ims5UU

Yeah, my local Target got a case of E69 really late, and since then, all I have seen there is one E70 Finn. They have the NS Asukas, and some Top Talents, and that's it. They had the Royal Rumble series but it disappeared right away and hasn't been restocked. And the last Wal-Mart I went to had no Elites at all.
