😂😂😂 That series was on shelves before Hogan’s racism video came out. It happened within the same time. I remember grabbing a Hogan the day I heard the news figuring it would be awhile before another if any Mattel Hogan. It was an Enzo situation where they held back on shipments and put Cass in there instead. Someone from Mattel definitely said that was the case. People were finding the figures on shelves in June 2015. The Hogan stuff happened in late July of that year.

I swear some of you argue for the sake of arguing and not wanting to be wrong. 2020 and people don’t know Google exist?
In late July 2015...
The Hulk Hogan racial slur controversy means no new action figures — or any merchandise. A little more than two weeks ago, Mattel showed several new Hogan action figures at San Diego Comic-Con — the most anticipated tease of the year for WWE toy collectors.
The Wrestling Observer‘s Dave Meltzer reported in the latest radio show that Mattel, 2K and other licensing partners were told no more Hogan.
“Everyone that they have deals with were told that he’s gone,” Meltzer said. “Nothing new. If it’s in production, if it’s been produced, scrapped. That’s it. So a lot of changes having to be made there. Not just no more Hulk Hogan action figures but there were two packs, there were things that were about to be distributed, and they’ve got to redo all of that stuff.”

The follow up cases had, I believe, 4 Titos, 2 Eddie and 2 Yoko because Tito accidentally got slotted as Hogan at the factory when they pulled Hogan from the reorders. Bill explained the story for a ringside Q&A or with Sam Roberts, somewhere I can't remember. But essentially, a sh*t ton of Tito shipped out and he was supposed to only be 1 per case.

When they hit Smyths, it was months after the US release, and they definitely had the cases with Hogan... and Tito was still left over in abundance. I'm not sure if it was unsold stock from Target or direct from Mattel, but the Hulkster was in there.

I think Bill was talking directly about the shipments to Target in the US. Tito was definitely the peg warmer of the set regardless. Maybe Smyths just ordered a ton of the sets on the first shipment and Tito at 2 per case never went away for you guys. I was still seeing 6 Titos on the pegs at one of my Targets through the middle of 2019. This was after the Hall of Fame Macho wave passed through and I think that first wave of Hall of Champions. Tito just wouldn't go away.

Tito was packed 4 per case due to Hogan’s racism so no it won’t. 😂😂😂 That series was on shelves before Hogan’s racism video came out. Maybe you should do research before looking like an idiot. Bill told the story of Tito being way overpacked in the reorder cases on Sam Roberts podcast because Target wanted more HOF after Hogan was put on the no fly list so the system auto filled the next SKU

I’m sick of running into targets. I caved and just ordered RR macho king on ebay. I’m not wanting any of these NS elites so far so no trouble for me with this set at least.
