They will probably biff it like Hall of Fame 2-packs; either a niche tag team or a re-release no one wanted with a new figure.

They could do well by just releasing Big John Studd with robe and Andre.
Or Savage and Akeem.
Scott Steiner and WCW Bret Hart

Now that I think of it, I want to finally complete Nation of Domination. Mark Henry and Kama Mustafa 2 pack would be sick.
This ones not happening but I wouldn't mind D'lo (in early NOD gear) with Farooq in the correct skin tone.

Summerslam 1989 Macho Man Randy Savage & Zeus This is a must. Savage definitely needs to come with his entire entrance attire. Here are others I would like to see, probably won't see most since they aren't all top tier names but still fun to mention. Steve Austin and Bret Hart from WM13 with and extra bloody head for Austin. Macho King Randy Savage and Dusty Rhodes from SNME 1990, (Rhodes in the entire attire from the Survivor Series 1990 team portrait) Macho Man Randy Savage and Rowdy Roddy Piper from Superstars 1991, when they saved Hogan from Flair and the Undertaker Macho Man Randy Savage and Jake the Snake from Superstars 1991 when the Cobra bit Savage Announcers Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior from Summer Slam 1991 The Genius and Mr. Perfect from SNME 1989 with a broken/smashed WWF Winged Eagle Title Kona Crush and Evil Crush Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy, Studd with his classic robe and Bundy with a molded singlet

Dwayne gill and Barry Hardy Well that one would not sell well at all. Most of them would be bought by Barry Hardy and his Son Brian Hardy. Now a Gillberg /James Ellsworth 2 pack lol...

They kind of, sort of released Duane Gill and Barry Hardy in their Toxic Turtles gimmick. Just use those "Ninja Superstars" figures

Stone Cold vs Mr. McMahon (Suit or Raw Announcer) Kane vs Undertaker (1998) Mankind vs Undertaker (HIAC) Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker (1998/2010) Kane & Undertaker (2001) Eddie Guerrero & Chyna (Mamacita) Edge & Christian (2000/2001) Shawn Michaels & Triple H (DX) Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart (Montreal) Stone Cold vs The Rock (1999/2001)
Basically any Undertaker/HBK/Austin feud can be made into a 2-Pack

They will probably biff it like Hall of Fame 2-packs; either a niche tag team or a re-release no one wanted with a new figure. they’re actually making main event talent only

As much as I like them and would purchase them, I don't think Mattel thinks John Studd, King Kong Bundy, the Genius, Crush or even Jesse Ventura & Mr. Perfect are top tier. I think this line is mostly going to be guys like Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, Steve Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, etc. - legend/non-current-star wise.

Yeah, but they kind of ruined that by having him eat the pin at Summer Slam. Even though I would have hated it Savage should have taken the pin since he is one of those guys that don't get hurt by taking a loss. They should have kept Zeus strong through the Survivor Series then have Hogan finally overcome him in the match that went with the PPV release of No Holds Barred.
