We really going to do this again this year? Every year there’s posts about empty pegs and old figures around this time. Figured some of you had some sort of memory. Yes. Again this year. You would think after all these years they would learn how to get it right with the Elites How many empty pegs do you see for Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends, Power Rangers Lightning Collection. Very few Obviously Hasbro has something figured out that Mattel doesn’t

Man, pegs have been empty across the country all year. The amount of empty peg reports and pictures is ridiculous. My Walmart carries Elites for a week and then goes without them for 2-4 months. And that's increasingly more common. Not sure why people have to always be the devils advocate on this subject. It's a real issue.
Literally has zero to do with the time of the year.

I agree with you. At the most my Walmart will get 2 cases at a time. They sell out quickly and then it’s empty for months. Why does this happen? Is it a lack of supply? Items just sitting in the warehouse? Store should never have empty shelves or pegs.

They went through 3 cases of E72 last week in about two days. Theu had BP62 on the pegs tonight. And plenty of Basics...B100 and the set with Thanos Rollins.

Hundreds of empty Elite pegs all across the country during the biggest shopping time of the year. All of it caused by a UPC screw-up with the cases of Elite 69. im pretty sure that’s the problem at my Walmart’s because they’ve claimed to have several in stock since around the time elite 69 starting hitting and haven’t received any more since the counts aren’t going down, at least I was able to get most of what I wanted from 69 for $7 though.

I also continue seeing the pattern of a shipment of elites arriving and being in stock for a few days to a week. Then 2-3 months with nothing. The entire section bare save for a few basics. This is across 4 different Walmarts in the area near my home and again 40 miles away at work.
Also one Walmart got 2 cases of elite 72 with no Gorilla Monsoon. I opened them to check but didn’t buy any figures. All figures sold within 3 days. Shelves will be empty probably for another 2 months.

So tired of making wasted trips to Walmart. None of um are close to me and none of them have elites. How can we collect when there’s never anything on the shelves?

When my Wal-Marts all stocked Elite 68 a couple of times, I thought the distribution issues were in the past. But months later and 68 is still all that's stocked in my stores.

Because those pegs are overflowing with Kree Sentry, Hulk, Molten Man, and Wendigo wave figures for ML; Beast Morphers Red and Gold, Shadow Ranger, and Dino Charge Red from LC; and Qi'Ra, Lando, and Jet Troopers from Black. Hasbro does have two things going for them over Mattel. They're the masters of crapty case packouts and they know how to make certain figures that will sit for years.

But you go to a couple different stores in my area (they may not all be at one of course). You will find Pink Ranger, Zedd, Scorpion, Beta Ray Bill, Rescue, Spider Man, maybe a Mysterio if you’re lucky, a bunch of quality figures. What’s the hard BS figure to find right now besides Mandalorian, Wedge? Saw a couple of him this weekend I’m not saying a Hasbro is perfect, but they consistently have stuff on shelves through the year, in competing lines, and Mattel WWE Elite consistently has issues keeping shelves stocked I know Elites are popular but they aren’t popular like that!

Guys I think it’s time to admit that Mattel sucks with this license. Yes these are the best wwe figures ever but what use are they if they can’t ever be found? The exclusives have made this hobby more frustrating than fun. The empty pegs had so pissed the other day I threw the other crap I was buying on a shelf and walked out. If it wasn’t for online I would be completely done. I hit stores like 10 times a week and haven’t found a damn thing in over a month. Nothing ever changes and I don’t even think Mattel is capable of fixing it. It’s only been ten years and we’re still having the same issues. Not holding out much hope going forward.

Yeah, I know we’re not imagining this trend and it’s not a seasonal thing. My Walmarts fall into the trend of maybe getting a case of elites and then there is nothing for months on end. I think the closest one by me has literally gone about four or five months with nothing new.

That's a healthy reaction. Can't wait for the backlash when whoever picks up the line next starts from scratch and is completely out of scale.

Not saying I want Hasbro to take over the line or anything but you have to admit Mattel has sucked lately at their distribution.

There's ones I don't have yet, but that's mostly because my wife puts me on a purchasing moratorium until after the holidays.

Yeah I totally understand that. I think my wife finally just gave up. Lol. I would be so much happier with a Monsoon figure and I think my frustration would disappear.

I'd like to eventually happen across that one too, but it's not healthy to let these things boil up the blood. They're just action figures. Nobody wants to be the guy who follows strangers through the Target at 8am because they got the plastic wrestler first. That guy's a creep.
