I see quite a bit of back and forth on store exclusives lately. So I wanted to start a thread that isn't complaining but more so ideas on how to handle the situation. I think it's safe to say that Mattel is not going to cancel Exclusives because most collectors want them to. It brings them money because they sell. There's no 2 ways around it- if we see an exclusive on the shelf, we are going to buy it. And so will the next person, and so on.
So how about some ideas!? My idea off the top of my head would be to include more exclusives per case. I mean, they will sell anyway, more money for Mattel, more figures for us. It's a win, win!

Anything that gets wrestling characters from the Golden Era on shelves or available online. Maybe a Wrestlemania 3 exclusive where they start with Muraco, Can Am Rick and Mr. Fuji, Heenan and Hercules. Next release can be Gorilla, Hillbilly Jim repaint, Bundy repaint, rerelease of Race and FTITL Moolah. Get us Koko B. Ware, Butch Reed, Dr. Slick, Blue Tito, Bulldogs, Danny Davis and the Killer Bees.

I'll never understand what feels like such a sudden aversion to the notion of one per case figures. Literally every line I've collected ever that releases figures in cased assortments has had figures, usually of the sought after variety, that have been one per case. I'd understand it more if figures like Dunne, Sherri, etc. were assorted at random, similar to the chase variants, but while these figures are only in cases shipped to certain stores, they're packed into however many cases those stores get. It's literally no different than it ever was, save for the line being a merchandising tool for a somewhat niche product not currently enjoying broad, casual appeal.
Some of y'all have never had to chase after a Marvel Legends series 6 Deadpool or Phoenix, and it shows.
