There’s an online petition! It's even funnier if you read it because they claim the stock workers are "stealing" the figures lol

Mattel has really botched things with all these store exclusives, they have cancelled one line after another, its ridiculous. I echo Powerfred3k's sentiment- its time for a change, Mattel has had the license long enough- time for someone else to take over.

I also want them to make guys that we need. Go crazy like Jakks did lol

Would you rather they not be released at all?
And again, until you live outside of the U.S., and have to get half of your collection online at double the price, there's really no room to complain.

Gorilla & I are both from Canada so we know quite well how hard it is to find these damn store exclusives. In answer to your question, Yes I would prefer they not be released at all seeing as how Mattel has shown they don't know how to release store exclusives properly. Two issues that are to blame here- horrible distribution of these exclusives by retailers (some stores carry some sets, some get in all of them while most don't get anything) AND the fact that Mattel keeps cancelling these exclusive lines one after the other?! The best way to release the less popular, niche-type figures IMHO is as ONLINE EXCLUSIVES, where everyone has a shot at buying one and they can be released globally (thanks to the global reach of the internet) as opposed to stupid store exclusives which are limited to 1 store in 1 country.

Then the stores should stock more to sell more. That is the logical solution Did you not see the pic I posted from my local target ? 1 peg that can hold 4 elites. Target sucks if you don't have a supersized store. Walmart sucks because it's bone dry for months and then we get shipper displays and the leftovers hang around for months. Both stores equally suck from both ends of the spectrum. Toysrus was a great 3rd option. The keyword is "was". These exclusives have to end completely. That or wwe needs to fire mattel. WWE Hasbro 2020.

Absolutely 100%, this has to end. Its been a shambles!! And is unfair, people cant travel the earth hoping for a figure to be in stock at a particular store. Mattel have really disappointed fans with this sales approach and its about time its brought to a halt!

I’ve enjoyed it. Got my Backlund, NXT Series 4 and Elite 64 Pete Dunne! Bring on more Target and WalMart exclusives!

Didn't realize this was such a hot button issue. I'm on the fence about it too, honestly. For one, it's nice to go to a different store and know it has a unique set or fig setting on the shelf/peg. On my last outing to Walmart I found the CE63 Bob Backlund and Chase Shelton Benjamin! My happy toy hunter heart was pleased.
With that being said, I've been going to Walmart for the past 6 months looking for Flashback 3 Jake Roberts to no avail :/ My local shops never got em. There's pros and cons to all of this.
Maybe Mattel has picked up on this though? The Fan Central wave 1 is a good example. When that hit TRU, people were going gaga for them on eBay. Now, Ringside has fresh loads of them. So glad I didn't pay $70 for a Triple H then. Maybe patience is key, but then again, I'm not gonna hold my breath for that Jake the Snake.

I see both sides of this. If these exclusives were easier to get, then they'd be less "special". But if they're so exclusive and distribution sucks, then nobody can get them. I've had some luck, I got Dain and McIntyre. But not a whiff of Dunne or Sherri. Never saw FC 2. Never saw FB 3. Overall, I say do away with them.

5 days and only 37 signatures. 😂😂😂 And even if they do get 100 signatures, then what? This is even more comical than the time there was a petition to the White House to get Daniel Bryan in the main event of Wrestlemania XXX.

Um... Backlund Dunne Sherri Are all exclusives in the regular line. Mattel would probably say we are already doing that. lol And you also probably would lose them when you say “stock workers steel them” sure there may be some Target employees who buy them. And why not? They have just as much right to as anyone else, but for the most part it’s other customers getting them before you and reselling them.
