The following is from The Albuquerque Journal regarding a story about WFWF Superstar, Chris Priceless:
CHRIS PRICELESS, WFWF WRESTLER AND NEW MEXICO NATIVE HOSPITALIZED!
New Mexico - Nick Brunnettie, better known to WFWF fans as Chris Priceless was hospitalized last night. According to our sources, he was found by his father, Rocco Brunnettie unresponsive in his bed late last night and he was transferred to Heart Hospital of New Mexico.
"His vitals are stable but we don't know too much at the moment," said Dr. Greenthumb, "Mr. Brunnettie is under constant monitoring from hospital staff and we are running tests on him. Until the results come in, we won't know what the diagnosis is so all we can do is wait". Brunnettie was last seen at the WFWF event, Event Horizon in December where he lost to Tyler Draven in a decisive fashion. Many in attendance at the show claimed that "The Man from Tragedy City" seemed aloof. Many speculate that Brunnettie hasn't fully recovered from the injuries he suffered in the brutal and infamous deathmatch at London Calling against the controversial Ryan "Needles" Payne and many are blaming the WFWF for booking him on the show when he was in no shape for in-ring competition. When contacted, WFWF General Manager Lila Sleater refused to comment.
His father, Rocco is the most distraught. Sources say he's been "hysterical" and refuses to leave his youngest son's side, reportedly sleeping in the room where his son is being tended to. "I've lost one son already," Mr. Brunnettie said, "I'll be damned if I lose another one."
Brunnettie's older brother, Chris passed away from a drug overdose when he was just sixteen years old. According to their father, the two brothers were extremely close and the death of his brother is the cause of the wrestler's mental downward spiral. He adopted his brother's name at the start of his wrestling career as a way to pay tribute. The WFWF was working on a documentary about Brunnettie and his life: Behind The Man, Chris Priceless but the company never finished filming due to his erratic behavior following London Calling and his family's request for privacy following his severe injuries. His future in the WFWF and in wrestling - is seriously in doubt.
