WFWF presents: Riot on Broad Street LIVE from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PAMain Event: International Championship Match! Frank Lynn vs Mak CrossMak Cross opened a lot of eyes when he returned to the WFWF and pinned the current International Champion at New Day Rising. Frank Lynn lived down to the expectations of all the naysayers who believe he stole the International Championship from David Brennan and doesn’t deserve to be a champion. Lila Sleater saw a chance to get payback on the man who embarrassed her when Frank Lynn revealed the no fine/suspend/fire clause in the new contract he signed himself to while he was GM for a day. Events created the perfect storm and the fans will reap the benefits because Lila has booked the rematch everyone wants to see: Mak Cross vs Frank Lynn. This time the International Championship is on the line! Can Mak do it again and finally claim a WFWF title? Can Frank Lynn get his head out of his ass and get back to the form that led him to victories over Hall of Famers like Trace Demon and Michael Kyzer? We know one thing for sure, after this match is over we will have an International Champion who truly deserves the belt. The New Generation Jayson Sykes vs Tyler DravenTwo rookies who learned from great mentors. Two rookies who won impressive debut matches. Two rookies with the same goal: to rise to the top of the new generation of WFWF superstars. Jayson Sykes beat Billy Broom in his debut match. Tyler Draven beat Brandon Bison in his debut match. Now they’re going head to head to see which one is a contender and which one is a pretender. Who will come out with the victory and the momentum to carry them to possible title contention? He’s Back Reverend Shadow vs “The Cleaner” Billy BroomThe mysterious Reverend Shadow returns to the WFWF. Why is he coming back now and what does he have in mind? Nobody knows but we’ll all find out when the WFWF train rolls into Philadelphia. His opponent? The “f***ing janitor” Billy Broom. In a very short time, Billy Broom has gone from running joke to serious competitor, making his opponents have to work very hard to beat him or else they will take the loss, something Anna Ahriman found out the hard way. A Reverend and a janitor walk into the ring… sounds like the start of a bad joke but it will be anything but when the bells rings and these two throw down! Beauty and the Beast Hamilton K. Clarke vs MeshHamilton K. Clarke played his mind games with Lazer before their match and put up a good fight but came up short as the masked behemoth put him down. The oldest competitor to step foot in a WFWF ring since everybody's favorite egg shaped zookeeper Mantis Toboggan gets a second shot to impress as he faces another debuting rookie. Mesh is a cute Cali girl looking to follow in the footsteps of Shannon, Quinn, and Ahriman as the next great female competitor not afraid to mix it up with the men of the WFWF. Will beauty soothe the savage beast? Will age overcome youth? There's only one way to find out! Looks like a good show. Let myself and CM Poor know if you would like to write a match or if you will be submitting a non-match segment. Thanks! FYI - CM Poor will be writing as Billy Broom this time around.

I'm able to write the match, however, does "Tyler" (it feels weird typing that instead of Trace) want to write it? I don't care either way.

Soooo to be clear here..is drakz the one running the character? I just need to be clear here haha Check out Billy's bio page for all you need to know. Various writers who don't want to or can't write their main for a show can take a turn writing an RP as Billy Broom giving their own take on him. He doesn't really have a single person running him but it is expected that each writer build on the past Broom RPs without straying too far from his established traits.

Apologies for not being active this week I've been struck down with tonsillitis. I will try to get at least a promo up for this show but I'm way behind with uni work. I finish in mid May though so next show shouldn't be a problem.

Sorry for the graphical delay, folks. My job's fiscal year ends 3/31, so anyone familiar with that sort of thing and the fact that I'm in accounting can probably ascertain how much time and/or sanity I've had to spare lately. That'll be mine and King Richius' first "concept to creation" poster, and considering I just whipped it together after a complete failure of execution Friday night, I'm pretty pleased with it. BTW, that title is all me, because even booking a show in Philly, I've gotta put the greatest city in the world over, and that damn pit deserves everything they get after February's Minnesota clusterf*ck. "I had a rough night, and I hate the f*ckin' Eagles, man."

The next 11.5 hours are going to be either really productive, or really disappointing.

The next 11.5 hours are going to be either really productive, or really disappointing. My fingers are crossed but I already know of one possible no show and one possible extension. The optimist in me is starting see a half empty glass.

The optimist in me is starting see a half empty glass. I guess if we want to cling to optimism, we can go with the fact that only one match needs to be determined by vote. Guys, seriously - this is the most lax the WFWF has ever been. Once upon a time, if you were "active", you were booked, no questions asked. We're quite literally leaving this in your hands, and we've patterned the roll out of card-writing-results so that there rarely can be any questions as to what sort of time constraints there'll be show to show. This is the complete opposite of my mindset re: extensions. I'll hand out 24 hours almost every time I'm asked, but in a fed that's strictly participatory, if you don't show when you agreed that you would in advance, it kinda sucks for everyone. TL;DR - if you're not gonna show, don't sign up.
