I read that apparently No mercy is Brock's last title defense of the year. In that case I want Braun to win even more.
And Cena reportedly told WWE he couldn't compete while shooting the Bumblebee movie so after No Mercy that leaves Rae without Brock or Cena until through Survivor Series.
Damn

One of the top wrestlers in Japan... well, in DDT. Ah. I don't watch any of the Japan Wrestling Federation.

I read today that they are doing this now because Cena is going to go off and film Bumblebee and the director wants him doing no wrestling while filming takes place. WWE wanted to stretch this out to Survivor Series. The article also states that Brock/Braun will be Brock's last title defense of the year (ridiculous). That's an issue for another thread though. So essentially Vince won't have his 2 biggest draws for the entire football season. Yikes

Probably not his last defense as he's no longer fighting in UFC Reports said No Mercy was Brock's last contractual date of this year Probably before the Jon Jones issue . Also are those the same reports that said Big cass is going to be WWE champion 😂

Also are those the same reports that said Big cass is going to be WWE champion 😂 I don't know dude. All I know is what I read. Also pretty sure those reports came out after Jones was suspended. Also, Lesnar couldn't even fight this year. His WWE contractual dates have literally no bearing on anything to do with UFC.

I'm actually pretty optimistic about Reigns vs. Cena.

I am really excited for Reigns vs Cena. Say what you want about Roman Reigns as a character, but for me in big matches, he is one of the best on the damn roster. I have a feeling him and Cena are going to tear the house down.

You know that something is obv gonna happen right? I bet Samoa Joe intervenes and so does Miz and we get Reigns vs Miz and Joe vs Cena at No Mercy yes i could see that to protect both Cena and reigns

For those interested, I'm recording a new podcast episode tonight and we're discussing No Mercy at length. So if anyone wants to tweet/message us your picks for Sunday, please do! We're picking ours on the podcast itself.
You could find us on iTunes at "Royally Rumbled". </shamelessplug>

Trying not to get my hopes up but here's my ideal scenarios:
Braun and Brock have a monster classic and Braun wins the belt. I'm guessing Brock retains so if he does, I don't think he should pin Braun. Not a fan of a DQ finish in a title match so maybe they break out into the crowd and fight all over the arena. Let it be a double count out but have Braun destroy Brock and that'll kinda help them explain Brock's ridiculously long disappearance.
As far as Roman-Cena, I'm expecting Roman to win. Ideally, this match will close the show and have both men trying to get to their feet near the end of the match and GONG! Taker pops up and choke slams both men and leaves the ring as the crowd is going bonkers. Have Roman get choke slammed first and that'll allow him to crawl over and pin Cena.
Taker can get somewhat of his revenge on Roman by way of interfering and choke slamming him. Him choke slamming Cena will allow Cena to call out Taker for costing him the match setting up their match at Survivor Series. Honestly, I think Taker going out at the event he debuted as well as his hometown, is the ultimate farewell to him.

Soooo Taker loses at Mania, does a send off, and then loses at Survivor Series just to do another send off in the same year?

Jim Ross says until Taker and WWE comfirm he's retired, then he's not retired yet. Pretty simple when you break it all down.
