I would've been more impressed if you found it with nunchuks instead of the NXT belt.

It's a rare variant worth tree fiddy.

Well, it's pretty easy to tell if the tape has been cut or removed from the box. If it is indeed a factory error, then there are always people out there interested in oddities.
Hell, there are people out there that will buy anything! Does anyone else remember the "World's longest Cheeto" that sold for a little over $4000? The piece of toast with a burnt image of Jesus on it that sold for $5000?! The set of five Michael Vick rookie cards that some dude gave to his dog to chew on that sold for $8000?!!
Some people are just way too bored and have so much more money than sense.

Well, the Cheeto and Jesus Toast stories were on the news years ago and both the former owners and current owners were interviewed, so I suppose those ended with the seller getting paid. Questions were asked about why someone would give so much money for crazy things like that. The Vick card guy was actually on one of the ESPN programs... not sure if it was SportsCenter, but I think it was... and questions came up about how he could make money off of something like that, and he said he ended up giving the money to some sort of charity for abused animals.

Even if it's a factory error (and aren't these different series? I don't know factory schedules, so not sure if different series are produced same time), it doesn't matter because elites can be swapped into different packaging, so there's no way to prove it's a legit error. It's not factory sealed, it's taped. This is only worth as much as a loose Sami Zayne is.

Bought it like this from Gamestop. So unless someone swapped them out then returned it, this is a factory error.
