Superb collection OP. Really nice. Love it. These are my favourite Star Trek figures - they are the ones I grew up with as a kid and collected as kid. I have around 280 Playmates figures in my collection. Including the 5" figures (from First Contact and the 'action range'). There are about 25 of the 5" figures. Did you ever complete your collection? From my extensive research on the range, I have a complete collection except two figures I am yet to find for a good price. I opened all mine (and played with them as a kid), but do have them on display now in a wall cabinet, so I'm happy. I kept all the cards and play set boxes though (minus the bubble for the cards). Just for my own curiosity - what are the two you're missing? No problem. I should have mentioned them. They're not the most exciting of figures I guess. I am missing these two:The first is a 'Where No Man has Gone Before' Kirk figure that was only sold with this Shuttlecraft set. The second, much rarer and expensive figure is Data in red uniform (labelled as from the TNG episode Redemption - which is an error in itself). This was a JC Penny catalog exclusive, made in a limited number in US and Canada (about 5,000 I think, though people debate this ranging from 2,000 to 7,000). It never got a European release, so I was never able to purchase back in the day. This is hands down the most expensive figure in the range, there are probably only a handful or two of Star Trek Playmates figures worth anything (the rest can be had for less than $10 - even mint carded).

Edit: Ok I finally had time to find and sort everything out. I know there isn't much value in the Playmates Star Trek line, but I loved it and I still do. There was such an array of characters and accessories and the majority of them were very available to the average collector. Thanks for looking Superb collection OP. Really nice. Love it. Thanks man. Id like to see pics of your collection. Mine is not complete. I'm not missing alot, less than 10 I would say. I have the majority of them MOC from collecting over the last few yrs. I used to keep all the cards too lol. Did the same with my Jakks BCA figures.

Yesterday I learned that Target will be carting a relaunch of Mego styled 8” figures including the Star Trek brand. And it looks like they will be making Sulu and hopefully Chekov the two bridge members Mego never made.

Her's my collection; all cards, weapons and bases are away in storage. I'm 99.99% sure this is every figure except Red Data and Galileo Kirk. Got all the variations, mailaways etc I hope you like...

Kirk's likeness in the head sculpt looks really good.

It's beyond disappointing that they didn't give him a Tribble.

My Picard preorder came in from Gamestop yesterday. I like it a lot. I'd love to be able to buy the entire main TNG crew in this style, but with them being made by McF, I doubt that'll ever happen.
I guess we might get Data if we get a third series, and possible Riker, Worf, or Geordi somewhere down the road, but I doubt we ever get the whole crew.

The back of the boxes for Kirk and Picard showed Spock and Burnham, but at this point, I don't even know if those are still coming out.

Other than a comic book shop up in Middletown NY I have yet to see Kirk and Picard at any local retailer.

I've seen them at Gamestop and Go Calendars, and that's it. Honestly, I keep waiting for McF to fold up completely.
They're not doing any TWD in 2019, looks like Trek isn't being sold much of anywhere, and their Fortnite figures, although they're cool looking, seemed to quickly take a backseat to the Jazwares figures.
I wonder if Game of Thrones is going to be their last hurrah?

FINALLY. After nearly 30 years.
Completed my Playmates 4.5" collection.
Every single figure!
Very special line for me, as like the WWF Hasbros, these were a line I loved and played with as a kid.
Feels good.

I've always wanted a Deanna Troi figure from the Star Trek The Next Generation figure line because Deanna Troi is one of my favorite Star Trek The Next Generation characters not only because she's smart and beautiful and tough but because the actress who plays Deanna Troi Marina Sirtis happens to be named after my favorite city on the Central Coast and I find it so cool. I also have two Captain Kirk figures and a Uhura figure and a Scotty figure that came with my Star Trek Transporter Room playset. I have been interested in Star Trek because William Shatner is one of my crushes Doctorwhofan
