Does anyone own both? I have the SDCC Taker and the only difference I can see is the eyes. Do you think its worth my while buying the new DM version?

I'd say the DM is worth buying. Only reason I like the SDCC version better is because the eyes are badass, and I got it for a good price MOC.

Eyes and different variations in paint here and there. I have both and prefer the exclusive but if you ain't down to pay more pick up the DM it's a great figure.

The original version is better. It looks cool with no pupils and the Sdcc packaging makes it a better presentation in my eyes.
I don't own both though. Just the Sdcc taker

I own both. there is enough variation that when you have them side by side, you appreciate both. The original has the better eyes, the newer one has a better paint job on the attire. If i had 2 of each, I would take the Head off the SDCC and put it on the new body.

Vest has silver details in the DM, the aforementioned pupil differences, there's no blue-gray portion behind the logo on the boots, and from what I've read, the gray color has a little bit of a bluer tone to it on the original compared to the straight gray on the new DM. I think the torso might have something different about it too, but I don't remember.

Ah, that's weird. I guess that was some sort of early prototype version? Anyway, here's a better pic: Looks like the differences are fully silver nipples (...) on the DM. the boot logo being gray instead silver, boot backing color is missing on the DM, the eyes, the slightly more gray color designs, and it seems like the crotch design is a little different, too. The deco in general is a little thinner on the SDCC figure.

Dm is $17.99 on Amazon. Price match him in store. That's cheaper than an elite fig.

I own the SDCC Version (Props to Johnny Yuma) and I've found the DM Version in stores. I prefer to have the figure kept in it's entrance gear, so the rolled back eyes make the figure for me.
If I was going to display him without the entrance gear on, I'd buy the DM in a heartbeat.
In short, if I ever see the DM one on sale at an amazing price, I'll probably pick it up and display him without the entrance gear. But until that happens, I'm happy with my SDCC version.

Well I called into Smyths tonight and picked up the new DM Taker. Even though the differences are marginal the figure just looked so good in that box. Goes to show the power of presentation! I must take a photo the next time im at Smyths and show you guys the shelves, its unreal the wwe stock they get, its like walking into the old school toy stores from the 80s/90s. They are just such an awesome store. I never thought in my wildest dreams such a store would exist in the UK because I am used to hearing about all the best toy stores in America.

I have both although the DM is put away til Christmas, but from what I saw the only difference between the SDCC and the DM is the DM has pupils and Mr Spock eyebrows.
