I'm looking to get information about the 2001 Danbury Mint "The Rock" lifelike sculpture part of the Superstars of the World Wrestling Federation. I am looking for information about its rarity and value and if there were other wrestlers included in this series/collection.
This is statue is similar to Danbury Mints sculptures of baseball and football players.
i am not looking for information about the gold leaf trading cards, the collectors plates, the mugs or the 5 little dolls series (lil chyna, lil rock, lil stone cold etc). I appreciate any and all help you can provide, as well as info on how to post a picture into this thread. thank you!

Well, Danbury Mint is more of a niche market. The statue is probably rare, but most likely won't hold the value of it's original price. That being said all I found was a 1:24 scale chevy truck with a statue of the Rock in the back, which sold for 174 euros ($196).

I don't even remember this, and I followed wrestling very closely in 2001. Which would suggest it was laughably bad, and that's probably why I don't remember it.

He did some for First 4 Figures in the mid-2000s I believe, pretty sure he wasn't doing any professional work in 2001

This was the only wrestler they made. I sold one last year for $60. I thought it would have gone for more.

I purchased a box of 6 of them around 2005 or so and they sold for around $50 each over time, its a great looking detailed statue made of resin and was the only 1 made by Danbury mint in that format at the time.

if someone could fill me in on how to post pics here without having an http: source I would appreciate it If you don't want to upload your pictures and use the image tag [ img src=" http:// " alt=" " ], you can still use the "Add Attachment"-button. That last option is meant for a single picture. However having your own webspace or using Photobucket with the image tag is preffered and easier in the end.
