name me a figure that MATTEL ever advertised as having "knee pads" as an accessory. Not saying they have but it's something I see them doing. Elite A.J - Comes with Necklace... Well so did most basics.
It's just with Jakks figures like ECW Ariel had such high detail! Came with a removable skirt a removable corset it also came with a steel chair or a microphone!
Cost of oil and thus plastic has gone up in 10 years.

Just opened my E36 Goldust and his right leg is floppy. So much so that I thought he was breaking when I went to turn the leg and it gave so quick. I flipped him and checked the joint, it is just loose somehow, because it looks totally normal. Not to sound too rain-man esque, but there is definitely a change in materials that seems to have just started in Elite 35 and basic 50. The weight is off slightly and the material has a slight tactile difference. I would say this is noticeable to a hardcore collector as a vehicle suddenly having a minor performance issue after someone had driven it for years without incident. What I'm saying is that I'm not crazy, there is a difference despite being subtle to a casual fan. Anyone else? I'm curious about this.

My Goldust is really stiff actually, but my original return Elite Goldust had a loose leg. Other people have made that observation. I think it's true but it hasn't been enough to turn me off of collecting them.

Yeah I've heard the thing about lighter materials a few times, but never an exact observation as to when the change occurred. This is why I'm curious

I just started collecting Elites this summer, and now I have 12 or so. All stand just fine, and are by far the finest wrestling figures I have ever owned

I just start a Figuarts collection of DBZ and Sailor Moon. Only six figures in and I'm impressed for the price point. At $20 for elites and the way Mattel Pumps Elite figures, upwards of 70 a year and I can say I'm disappointed in a lot of it. I scaled back a whole lot already, been skipping whole sets and plucking one or two guys since elite 28. I'm disappointed with the DM line as well, doesn't feel like it used to. I still get excited and like collecting Elites as some are genuine wants, but collecting Mattel's are starting to feel like a chore these days. That said, I'm stoked to be getting WCT cages, RSC Hall, and Elite 38 APA. Also, I'm excited about getting my RSC SES Punk MOC and loose to finish out my CM Elite set.

I have never had a Mattel wwe figure in any style (elite, Basic, FF, Rumnbler) fall over. Have had a few with their JL/JLU, but never a WWE figure. Now Jakks was another story because anyone who had Hogan's tall boots mold always had super loose ankles. I have only had one bad experience with the leaves and it was Barry Windham from the Hall of Fame series the one I opened would not stand literally right now he's being held up by a ring apron in my Loose collection... but other than that I've not had any problems with any of my line angry completely with you Jakks...awful
