I'd be OK with a short reign for Sting just like Hogan got in 02, they can do it without hurting Rollins. I've wanted to see Sting with that title since my Hasbro/galoob days lol. I was going to post something similar to this. This parallels Triple H's reign ending to Hogan. Seth Rollins is the main villain of the company as Triple H has been for most of his career. Triple H dropped the title to an aged superstar for a nostalgia run but not before interference by Jericho and Undertaker. Maybe that will come to fruition here. Ambrose, Reigns, or whomever interfere to help Sting, or Sheamus cashes in and Sting pins Sheamus. Until I rewatched how Hogan won it against Triple H, I forgot (A) he beat Triple H for the title and (B) that there was outside interference. Casual fan won't remember Rollins losing to Sting or htat it took outside interference to do so. They'll just accept the fact that Sting won a WWE title. But, the man put over several talents in TNA. I can see him vetoing a win if he has the pwoer to do so.

I'm shaking my head at all of you guys who want a SENIOR CITIZEN to have the WWE title. A man who is 46 should be nowhere near the title, let alone 56. Last I checked Sting is 56, not 64. That doesn't change the fact that he actually qualifies to join AARP and can get a senior citizen discount (55 and older) and numerous businesses. If those aren't indicators that he's far too old for the belt, I don't know what is.

After RAW tonight, I think Sting is going to win it. Cena will defeat Rollins earlier in the night causing Rollins to be less than 100%. Then Rollins will lose to Sting later that night. I expect Sheamus to cash it, but I hope he waits a day or even a week or so before doing it.

I think Seth Rollins is a great worker but as a character i've seen hundred of better wrestlers. Hundreds!
I just don't think this is the guy to carry the torch, in an era that was stacked with great stars he might not even ever win the US or IC titles. I can't get offended if a guy like that drops the belt to an Icon the likes of Sting, regardless of his age.
Rollins was never going to be champion forever, he is what is, a great worker with a sub par personality and reasonable mic skills. Sting beating Reigns who might be the franchise someday, yea i can see that being wrong, but a guy like Rollins will be fine to lose here. Dude should just be happy he wrestles in a watered down talent pool and keep laughing all the way to the bank.

Sting going over Seth Rollins. It shouldn't happen at all.

No he isn't winning in the WWE. Only Vince would let a stupid moros like Rob Bartlett win. Vince wants Sting to lose and retire winless in the WWE.

After last night's speech, it makes sense for Sting to win. It's his last run and the only belt he hasn't held is a WWE belt, so I'm really excited. It's the proper sendoff imo, I just can't stand that hideous belt it doesn't scream universal to me.

Plus I can see Sting winning to further prove Seth isn't HHH. Hunter beats Sting, Seth can't. Further builds up to HHH vs. Rollins.

hows this... Cena beats Seth for the US Title.. Sting and Seth go at it.. and Sheamus inserts himself near the end of the match like Seth did at WM. Sheamus boots Sting out of the ring and fights Seth. Sheamus tries to pin Seth multiple times but Seth kicks out. Brogue kick. Pin attempt. Sting with the save! Scorpion Death Drop! new champion! Seth loses the title without being pinned is mad at Sting, mad at Sheamus, mad at the authority. Sting only wrestles half the match really with Sheamus taking the other half. Rollins wrestles the full match. Rollins doesn't look weak after wrestling 3 guys in one night even though he loses both his titles. and come on.... who really wants to see Sheamus cash in for the title... and win.... at any point.....

I might actually prefer Sting to lose than win and immediately drop it to Sheamus. That would be ing dumb.

I kind of want him to win tbh. But I don't think he should. Rollins shouldn't drop it til Mania 32...yeah...I said it.
