But being a huge Sting fan, I want to witness him legitimately holding up the WWE's top prize. Here's my take.. Obviously I'm a sting fan as I said so I'm going to be on his side. I will always root for guys that I am fans of and especially guys I grew up watching. I don't turn my back on my favorites because they're up there in age or part time. I don't turn my back on my favorites at all.

It's hard to choose between favourites when they're fighting each other. Like Brock and 'Taker. I like Brock more, so I backed him.

Honestly, at this point, I wouldn't be so sure Reigns' big Mania moment is in the cards anymore. He's in a total holding pattern and WWE seems to be unsure of what to do with him. You can't blame them, given his demeanor in interviews. It's not just about him being able to handle himself in the ring anymore, it's also about his inability to be the face of the company in the public eye. He's a walking, talking, full blown natural heel. He lacks humility, he insults the fans, and cries foul over people's reactions while showing a total lack of understanding toward the fans' resentment for him. If anything, to me, Roman Reigns is less ready now than he was at Wrestlemania. He's regressed. Any attempt to push Roman Reigns as the top babyface before he has a monstrous, long, and successful heel run is most likely going to fail miserably. Stone Cold recently said that Roman Reigns will never be the top guy unless he has a huge heel run first, and I agree. Bryan, Rock, Austin himself, and so many more had these great heel runs which eventually led them into becoming mega faces. I still would've gone with Bryan/Lesnar at WM (with Rollins cashing in), and had Reigns turn before then to face Ambrose at Mania. But it's still not too late to turn Reigns heel.

Sting is my favorite wrestler of all time so I would love to see him get a run with the title and end up facing Taker. I think it'll go something like this. Scenario 1 Cena defeats Rollins. Sting is about to defeat Rollins then Sheamus shows making it a triple threat to steal the win from Sting. Scenario 2 Cena defeats Rollins Sting defeats Rollins Next night on Raw, Cena comes with his corny bs and makes a match with Sting to get his 16th win Scenario 3 Cena defeats Rollins Sting is about to defeat Rollins when Kane shows up and gives Sting the win Next night on Raw triple h states how Sting's win was invalid and is stripped of the title Sting is pissed so he beats up triple h, lights go out and the Undertaker viscously attacks Sting and reveals that he's part of the authority (explaining his recent heelish ways) The title goes back to Rollins and somehow a program wth Sheamus and Cena ends up running All I know is that if Sting wins it won't be a clean win.

I really don't see them putting any WWE gold on Sting. Like someone mentioned they could be using him to give Rollins a clean high profile win. That s up a lot of future possibilities for Sting though. There's bound to be more to this than meets the eye.

Stong should have Sting's spot. Sting ain't done crap.
Ok but seriously, I have no idea how Sting got a title match but him vs Rollins should be superb.

I reckon that they'll give Sting a big match at Survivor Series or Royal Rumble to get a win before facing Taker at Mania (if they want to go the Taker/Sting route).

Honestly looking forward to Rollins Vs. Sting and I'll go on record saying I hope Sting wins.
I think it's obvious we are going to get New Day Vs The Dudleys and I can't wait.

I'm interested in seeing Rollins vs. Sting. I wanna see how good of a match Rollins can carry Sting to.

If Sting vs Rollins was happening on a major PPV I'd be pissed. But Sting adds value to a C-level show like Night of Champions and it'll most likely only be a one time thing so I'm okay with it. If Rollins loses, I'll be mad as though.

Also, the Dudley's returning should open the door for a lot of tables matches for the tag team titles. Well I hope so anyway. New Day vs Dudley Boyz at NoC in a tables match would be ace.

If they put the title on Sting (and that's a big if), I don't think it will be for any purpose other than to attempt to pop a rating. In other words, I'd expect him to have a tremendously short reign - as in maybe even lose it on Raw the next night. Ratings are down, and they're poised to possibly get even worse with the NFL season fast approaching. I can see them doing something crazy like this, but it'll be with a big spot for Raw in mind.
As for the Sheamus cash-in, they'd be crazy to let him be the guy to theoretically beat Sting or Seth. No one cares about Sheamus and that's not getting any better. He's the perfect candidate to lose his cash-in and a be a martyr for the cause of bringing some unpredictability back to the Money in the Bank briefcase.
With ratings being where they are, they're much more likely to hurry up back to status quo (Cena wins title) than they are to take another shot at getting Sheamus over. Considering they decided not to do the former when they had the chance this past Sunday, I don't expect them to entertain the latter.
