I agree with everyone. That was an amazing match. It does bum me out though that on the main roster these ladies will end up stuck in short tv matches and multi-diva tag matches on ppv events

I'm watching thi sfor the second time now and I swear, I'm getting goosebumps again. Sasha's entrance Bayley being more aggressive, Sasha's somersault, the attack on the hand, stomping on the hand during the Bank Statement, Bayley countering the Bank Statement, the first Bayley to Belly, the crowd reaction, I can't say enough.
I've watched wrestling for as long as I can remember. I've seen stuff from every decade since the 80's. In all that time, I've only given out fourteen perfect five star ratings. I don't give them out easily to say the least.
I gave it to Bayley and Sasha. They deserve it. I'm sure some will try and say it wasn't that good or that women don't belong in the ring and if this match doesn't change your mind, nothing will. On a weekend that features Undertaker, Brock Lesnar John Cena, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Cesaro, Samoa Joe and many other talented performers, I honestly can't see any of them besting what these two women did.

I can see Seth and Cena pulling a Match of the year tonight cena has been in a Role lately with that. But back to bayley vs Sasha one thing I loved about the match was the promo before the match.I loved how they explained how bayley got there and how she was the only one not called up to the main roster and stuff.I thought the whole thing was incredible and it made bayley the underdog.Thats what is missing on the main roster lack of storylines.

Been watching since I saw Shawn/Razor from Summerslam. Lost my faith in wrestling in the past few years to be quite honest. This was the first nxt special I saw live after having friends tell me how NXT is different. And the main reason I watched was for Sasha/Bayley, and man, they did NOT disappoint. The whole ppv was unbelievable but they brought my faith back. Even though we deal with a lot of crap from the main shows, nxt has been a revolution to wrestling and the women most importantly. He may get a lot of crap for what he's done in the past, but Triple H's legacy will be defined with creating nxt, to me, even with all his accomplishments - NXT is a better legacy to leave behind and I thank Hunter for giving the younger guys and women a chance to show what they're worth. And I'm in love with Sasha. She is my Shawn Michaels of this generation <3

They date back to NXT ArRival in February of last year. Since then they've had TakeOver, TakeOver: Fatal 4 Way, TakeOver: R-Evolution, TakeOver: Rival and TakeOver: Unstoppable. All are good, some (R-Evolution and Rival particularly) are the best to me.

I only ever watch NXT specials and not weekly. Never in its entirety though, quite frankly because I don't know who some people are. And while I agree this match was very good for a women's match, I would certainly not go as far as calling it MOTY.
Yeah what they did was very impressive, the frankensteiner, somersault, steps, etc., especially being women but I wouldn't call it MOTY just cause they pulled out that stuff. Women's MOTY sure, maybe even GOAT I don't know, but definitely not the best this year out of wrestling's entirety.

Certainly a match of the year candidate, this year has been a fantastic year for great matches!
Watched this match twice, it was so good, can only hope WWE can bring this level to its main roster in the months to come.

I don't see that match being topped anytime soon and to be honest....I don't want it to be topped.
It's so special for a variety of reasons that I want it known everywhere it's a masterpiece.

But...how bout that entrance tho? Her entrance is exactly what I wanted her to have the whole time.I said a few months ago I wanted her to come out with a Possy or some bodyguards to really show how much of a boss she was.And this was the final touch to her character but I don't expect none of this on the main roster it's just ashame they can do so much in a development brand but do so less on the main show especially one with 3 hours.

Very good match. Not my match of the year, and very far from my best women's match of all time. Sara Del Rey and Manami Toyota at their respective peaks were on a separate level even from these NXT girls. Early 1990's AJPW in particular probably had the best women's division we'll ever see, at least in my opinion.
None of that is a sleight to Bayley and Sasha, though. Very good match, easily one the top WWE women's matches I can remember. They deserve the praise they're getting.

mfw a due on spam puts Sasha Banks at #2 on his Wrestler of the Week voting because she "carried" Bayley and puts Charles ing Robinson at #3, but leaves Bayley completely off. Because of this, Seth Rollins wins Wrestler of the Week.

Because of this, Seth Rollins wins Wrestler of the Week. I do think Sasha is leaps and bounds better than Bayley (hell, I think Sasha is leaps and bounds better than every female currently employed by WWE), but I have a hard time believing she carried Bayley. I don't think you get a match that good with one person carrying the other entirely. Regardless, having now watched the match a second time, it's definitely my favorite of the weekend. I don't know if I'll end up considering it my match of the year or anything (it'll certainly be on the list), but it's likely my favorite women's match ever in WWE. Also, my fandom for Sasha Banks grew tenfold.

Sasha didn't carry Bayley.
Both are awesome.
Let's stop this nonsense.
It takes two EQUALLY to put on a match that good. That's like saying Bret Hart "carried" Mr. Perfect.
Stop it.

I was so pissed because if it wasn't for that dude, Bayley would have probably won Wrestler of the Week. She finished with 36 points and Seth had 38. That was the only dude who didn't list her at all, but he gave Charles Robinson his third spot.
