Since I will most likely be collecting every single figure from the WWE Medicom Soft Vinyl line, I thought I shall create a thread about it. Hogan (1970s Version) and Warrior were the first 2 releases: Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn I want these. What do they run?? Hogan and Warrior were the first of the WWE line released last year. They usually are up fro pre-order at 7800 yen and with shipping is about 10000 yen which is around US$ 80. The Pr-orders run for about a month and if you miss them, they are gone. If you miss the pre-orders and try to get them on the secondary market, they can go up to US$ 150 per figure.. I paid US$ 250 for both Hogan and Warrior as a set which wasn't really a bad deal

Yea I also find it hard to justify prices of Sofubi but apparantely these things go through a tedious manufacturing process and are claimed to be of extremely high soft vinyl plastic quality. They are not exactly made through WWE but Medicom have gone through WWE for licensing rights to produce these figures. However, The packaging and the head of the toy does bear the WWE trademark logo on them.

Damn, LOD and Road Warriors... My wallet hates them already. The Hollywood Hogan is an easy pass for me; what's with the disco pants?

Love to have Sting and Vader, but sofubi and designer vinyl prices are insane. It's a weird collector driven market with inflated value out the gate. Shame too, there have been a ton of really cool things in a variety of genres, but too rich for my blood. Good gets, none the less bro.

They are cool, wonder how they get away with making them if they aren't wwe affiliated?

They are cool, wonder how they get away with making them if they aren't wwe affiliated? They did get a license from WWE. Not for sale in the U.S. doesn't mean not affiliated. It's like in the '90s: WWF figures by Star Toys; official figures.

I wish I was on the ball with these. It looks like Diamond Distribution offered them for sale in the U.S.back in February for $125. Now, I only see preorders for upcoming figures like Tiger Mask, Inoki, Choshu, etc.

Man, I wish I could get these. They look really interesting and vintage.
Though when $20 a figure is difficult $80 is impossible.

NWO Hogan just came in a couple of days ago I really liked that they paid attention to details and added the tan on this NWO version. They also added in the Hollywood Bandana and sunglasses which was a really neat touch, just that I didn't really like it molded as a 1 piece. Cheers!!!!!

Under no circumstances could I justify spending that much on a shoddy-looking product, no matter how limited it is. The cartoony look is cool but that price point is absurd.

I just don't get the bell bottoms. Why? Other than that, I've really liked how all of these look.
