Frank, I always enjoy reading your various reports. It's great you have your family with you, too. It definitely beats the typical movie night or bbq weekend. Not many people really get to spend that quality time with their families and few more probably get to have as much fan as you all do.
Your photography is out of this world, really. If the magazine industry (Apter mags etc...) were as big as it was in the 80s or 90s, one of those publishers would get a hold of you in no time. I hope you post your pictures (all of your pictures) on some sort of social media for all to see.
I know Roddy holds a special place with you, not only as a performer but as a man. I know 61 is young nowadays but the quality of his life was tremendous and we should be happy he had a well lived, maybe not long lived, life time. As a wrestler you never heard much bad, if at all, about Roddy. He didn't hold anyone down, he never tried to get one over on the famous or even small time promoters just because he has the fame to get away with it, like some do. He never agreed to one price for an autograph, only to hold the fan up for more money. He never gave the fan a poor performance whether in ring or out of the ring.
No matter if it were in front of a WWF crowd or a crowd at the local autograph convention, Roddy did what he always claimed he would do...he gave us our money's worth!

Oh wow... He looks unhealthy in those recent photos. After what I read in your post, I feel sad all over again. Thank you for sharing. I shared my own story in the official thread earlier. I never thought the biggest wrestling villain of the mid-80s could be my hero, but he was.

Thank you all for the supportive words! It still doesn't seem real to me..... out of all the wrestling losses in recent years, I think this one hurts me the most. Here is the photo we had Roddy sign at the Maryland show on July 18th..... we will treasure this forever. And here is the video of the final Piper's Pit, just uploaded to YouTube by Maryland Championship Wrestling.... Wrestling will not be the same for me without Roddy Piper..... it will not be the same.
