Before we start, no this is not another Wrestlemania 32 prediction thread. This is more long-term in nature.
Do you think we will ever see Ronda Rousey as a full or part time WWE Diva? I'm talking maybe a few years down the road when she has retired from UFC and MMA. I guess she's currently 28 years old but I know she's said in interviews that she's unsure how long her UFC career will be and it honestly doesn't sound like a long term plan.
How do you guys feel about Rousey eventually coming to WWE? Think it's possible or will she move along to Hollywood and pick up more acting roles?
Personally, I'd love to see Rousey in WWE for more than just a Wrestlemania talk segment.

I see Hollywood being the most likely destination for her after UFC simply because I can't see her losing at all if she was a full-time Diva. Realistically, you can't take a girl that's 99% muscle, who's been snapping arms of every challenger she's had, and put her in the ring with any lady on the roster and lose. It just doesn't look right.
That being said, it probably wouldn't be farfetched to assume she could make sporadic appearances and wrestle special occasion matches at say 'Mania or Summerslam. Again, as long as she goes over.

Full-time, definitely not. Apart from Tamina (and nobody cares about Tamina), the only woman in WWE who would look remotely credible against her is Stephanie McMahon... A non-wrestler. Steph has had two really good matches before against semi-trained/bad wrestlers (Trish in 2001 and Brie in 2014), so I could see them working out a good match between her and Rousey.
They could do an underdog story with someone against Rousey, maybe Becky Lynch. And they could have Rousey destroy and shut up the Bellas and Paige at some point. But I don't see any long-term sustainability in it. Once or twice a year, perhaps.

I think it'd be cool, on a Brock type deal. But yeah, I think she will definitely go to Hollywood. Easier & better money than what WWE could ever offer.
However, if she wanted too she could do both like Rock.

If she is, part-time with Heyman as her manager.
Highly doubt it.

Again, as long as she goes over. Yeah that is what I think too. If she can work on her acting chops, she will be great for action movies. But hell, even Fast and Furious had a hard time making Michelle Rodriguez look like she stood a chance against Rousey, and that was a big budget movie. But as said, I think as a special attraction a few times it will, and should happen.

the whole credibility argument in wrestling always makes me lol. it's down to creative to create an atmosphere where you're so into the product that you forget that a typical diva would never stand a chance in a 'real' fight against ronda rousey.
example a:
50 pound weight advantage. actual ufc fighting career. massive size advantage. yet somehow they make taz look credible and capable in his bout with valerans, even if he did need some help at one point from perry saturn. and just an example of how heyman understood how to portray wrestling vs. mma even back in 96. anyone who thinks lesnar's current character isn't mostly something heyman devised is fooling themselves.
you build someone as the underdog, and make them surprise everyone by actually being able to hold up to rousey. basic wrestling 101 people.
within 'kayfabe', a wrestler SHOULD be able to hold up a bit against an mma fighter any ways. so you're watching the wrong product if your suspension of disbelief is that iron guarded by realities.

How much is she making for her fight tonight? I think she made 130k in her prior fight. Considering she is one of their biggest draws, that is nothing. I'm pretty sure they gave Mayweather 20 mil for Mania, it would be a coup if they could steal her away from UFC.

Yeah I think them Hollywood hills will be calling. But she could be like Brock and Rock, popping in occasionally to whoop some ass. Fans will eat it up regardless.

Rousey vs Awesome Kong......Book it.
I can see her stepping in to shut somebody up for sure......but the divas division is so light on storylines they need to be careful of feeding somebody to RR. Also I agree with K5 here....people need to stop with the credibility thing in wrestling.
Also? Steph being named in this thread as the only "credible diva" for RR to face is surely a joke?

She's too much of a threat to the division. She would make everyone else look lame. She's too good looking and too badass not to have a future in movies.

As long as shes in the UFC, not a chance. If she retires, then I definitely wouldn't doubt it.

Ronda is too good for WWE. There is not a female that can even touch her, she known for destroying actual women fighters in mere seconds. Do you really think a Paige or Noami would stand a chance in hell at even touching her?
She is going straight to hollywood after her career is up.

I wouldn't be too surprised, she seems to be a big fan so it wouldn't be like just a random celebrity coming in to wrestle.

If Stephanie doesn't get squashed and spend the whole match trying to run away then the match will be trash. If she gets any offense in at all it should be a single slap right before she gets her arm snapped.
