Nice get. I got excited when I initially saw the figure as well. Put the red braces on my RSC Austin and turned the basic into a early 90's IC Title run era.

I should really buy an Austin figure. I hope they release a elite figure in his regular black tights soon. I will continue to buy any and every Stone Cold they put out... Hopefully they throw him in the regular elite line sometime soon. Even if the only change is a different shirt. I was hoping for the Blood from a Stone shirt, but Mattel said no blood. : ( but there are still more shirts to choose from. Hell, even if they release a Hollywood Blonde Austin, or a Ringmaster Austin...I'm sold. The more Austin's, the better. |

Not to hijack this thread (& no offense to the op) but basic Austins are terrible! There has not been any good Austin basics made. Torso and arms are wrong choices and they've always used the same lifeless headscan. I disagree. I put those arms on my Elite Austin and think it looks better than the scrawny arms.  They should be giving him the BASIC Sheamus arms. The arms they give Austin now are horrendous!Just from a design POV they are huge when you look them from the side and they're thin as a pancake when you see them at a straight angle. |

This is what I did for fix up, get a elite jbl or bad news Barrett as body base remove all tattoo and trunks design. Swap the arms of basic Austin into it. And get a cheap ryback basic for its leg to swap onto the jbl/ bnb knee down. You will have a elite stone cold. If you're a sucker like me always wanting a ball joint hip. This is a perfect recepit.
