It's nice to see him getting a push at all. The crowd was already getting behind Cesaro+Kidd, so hopefully Cesaro can ride that momentum into singles success.

Does he deserve a push? Probably - not more than Barrett though. Is he a work-horse? Yes. His ringwork is top-notch, but aside from that he's a Swiss Dolph Ziggler. No mic skills or outstanding personality to speak of - not enough to sustain a spot at the top. He can be an exception though. The fans love his in ring work. He could come out, say nothing, put on amazing matches that play to the crowd and get over as hell. He doesn't even need a mouthpiece. Slap him with a few shirts and the WWE could make bank. Know who isn't good on the mic? Brock Lesnar. Know who isn't good on the mic? The Undertaker. Now I'm not saying Cesaro is on the level of Lesnar and Undertaker, but I'm saying the WWE could make it work if they wanted it to work. That's just my take anyways. For a little while Cesaro was wearing a plain black t-shirt while with Tyson Kidd. I said give him a blank t-shirt with the WWE tag on the bottom and I'd buy it. Kind of the same explanation as to why Austin wore black trunks, he let his talking be done in the ring.
