It's weird... She's obviously always been that, but she didn't really show it so much on WWE TV until the last few months. I've not watched her career to be honest (watched the documentary before she hit it big though), only really tuned in because it's Steve Austin. I couldn't tell anyone if she was any good or not professionally. But boasting about her brothers snapping pull cues over people's heads for chatting her up was incredibly crass and ill thought out. Worst of all those moments are when the nerves eased off. No different than so many silly young girls boasting about how 'hard' her family is all over the UK. Cringeworthy stuff. Her brothers and wannabe Don Corleone father must be loving the exposure. The sad thing is they will probably get more bookings because of the interview.

I don't mean to be crude but I couldn't take my eyes off of her for that entire podcast. Jesus.

I watched 3 minutes and turned it off.
Not because I dislike Paige or anything. I really like her a lot.
I've just heard about her background before and she seemed very fidgety and nervous.
I might go back and watch it sometime though. I never watched the Steph one with Jericho either.

Well I guess I'm the odd one because I got the complete opposite from the podcast. I actually wasn't to big on her before it but after watching it, I don't find her so bad. She seems like a young girl just enjoying life and living it up. I honestly thought she came off pretty humble for the most part. She seemed to give honest opinions of herself and not put herself on a pedestal like others have made her out to be doing. Not the best one, but I enjoyed it. I'll also add that I now find her slightly attractive lol

Watched it the other day, certainly wasn't bad.
I enjoy her and her character and she's quite humble which I like. I admire most of the things about her (psh mhmhm) but it wasn't a fail at all, pretty good special on the network.

It was exactly what you'd expected and if you know anything about her background don't bother watching it. They may as well have got Jericho to do it instead of stone cold, because it was like listening to his podcast, not a Stone Cold podcast. it was pretty similar to her Talk is Jericho one.
Still a good watch though

She gets so much credit for her "wrestling background" on here, mainly from Americans who think her and her family actually mean something to the British wrestling scene.
They don't. The Knights have been in wrestling for years, but it's very much a "watch the fat old man beat the skinny mouthy heel" legacy that her father built. Not the same rub as previous Brit legends such as Brookside, Regal and Finlay. Her mother is a mean female mind, vicious as f***.
But everyone's heard the stories of them refusing to pay talent and producing profitless wrestling shows whilst claiming all forms of benefits for their council house. That was, obviously, until their pretty daughter got a well paid job abroad.
Plus, if you watch the documentary back, she comes across 50x more arrogant and spoilt when she was 18 than she does now, if that's even possible!
Her wrestling "background" is no richer than any other wrestlers background. Simple as that. She just does a good job of talking it up because she's young.

Yip there is a disconnect from us Brits on here and the American posters. Completely different cultures and ways of viewing things. A lot of Americans have romantized Paige's journey, we know otherwise. That family can't believe their luck that their daughter has proven to be a success, and they'll milk it for every penny. So many con artists, crooks and pretty much complete idiots in the British wrestling scene, that's why I went to Canada for my training.

Paige is 23 years old, travelling around the world, entertaining thousands and thousands of fans, making money and is living the life a lot of people dream of having.
Meanwhile, some of you are sitting on the internet and bitching for attention from people on a forum dedicated to wrestling toys.
I must admit, Paige is a little more impressive.

Watched it last night. I enjoyed it. I didn't know her background that well though so it was new information to me.

Any other thread that goes into a "that person sucks" direction would have already been locked. Think the difference is that people are making valid points and arguments. I will say one thing, the 'whole you can't have a gripe with anything because you collect wrestling dolls' is rotten patter. It's fine to not like Paige because you think she's sloppy or arrogant or not very good. Those are valid arguments. Flat out calling Paige fat, tubby or similar to Kharma is not a valid point or argument.

Yea, the dude whose gimmick on here is entirely to shame Paige. He was gone for a while after doing it and recently returned to call her fat. Like, I'll discuss an actual debate on whether Paige is good or likable with anyone, but that's just mean for the sake of being mean and uncalled for.

I cleaned this up a little bit here. Please keep it on the topic of the podcast and not things you obviously have no clue about. And for the love of god... don't be offensive with your posts.
