I have been pleasantly surprised by Seth's reign. He still consistently s up on the mic, but I think he's being booked perfectly for his character. Benoit's 2004 reign was pretty bad.

Seth Rollins entire run as champion has been a complete and utter joke.
Now I know what the WWE apologists will say: "Not every heel champion needs to dominate, he's a heel champion so it's okay to look like a bitch," but guess what? That doesn't excuse losing almost every match without interference, running away week after week, and looking like a complete and utter bitch.
What makes it worse, is that before he won the title, Seth Rollins stood up to Brock Lensar, threatened to curb stomp Edge unless The Authority was brought back, curb stomped Dean Ambrose's head through concrete, etc. He was booked like a great heel.
So yes, I think Seth Rollins is one of, if not the worst booked WWE Champions of all time.
I'm a big fan of Rollins, and I was so happy when he won the title, but this reign has been horrendously booked.

I think it makes perfect sense for him to be billed as a weak Champion. It goes perfectly with his Character, and after half a year of Brock Lesnar being the most dominant Champion in history, it's a good contrast to go from that to this. They want people to hate him, not start winning Matches clean regardless of whether he's the World Champion or not, and he plays the role perfectly. I agree that it's getting a bit tiring though and it doesn't feel as if there was any real long term planning involved in his run as Champion, but I would rather him get a good run at least than have the Belt back on Cena for no real reason.

Ladder match against Ambrose he won clean but your point still stands. He truly deserves to be booked better. He won the match after Dean had the title in hand but lost his grip on the way down, after Seth had just finished powerbombing the piss out of him on ladders and the barricade seconds before. If you call that a clean win, then sure. That was one of the best ladder matches in the past 10 years. Both men were booked strong as Hell. The finish was a clean win for Seth. Seth HAD to keep powerbombing Dean into the barricade and ladder because Dean is too stupid to stay down. And I mean that in a good way...like "Mankind @the 1999 Royal Rumble" stupid. No interference on Seth's behalf indicates to me that that may be his strongest title defense to date.

He is a heel champ. He's escaping still holding on to that belt. That's all he cares about. And trying to get as much heat from the fans as possible. He is succeeding
After that Cena match, all he's got to say is he didn't care about that match or the US Title.
I may be alone here, but I think he is playing his part to perfection. I love Seth Rollins
And he will get so much hate and then when he turns baby face everyone will love him. Classic Ric Flair type champion to me (and Flair is my all time favorite)

It's not about ing up on the mic. It's when you up on the mic, you don't get rattled and nervous (Roman, Brock, Jeff Hardy, and countless others)He's not the Rock, Edge or even Cena on the mic, but he's confident enough on the mic that it's not an issue. He's coming around

Seth is fine. One of the weakest champions I have seen is Orton, he had one title reign that gets forgotten and with good reason. I think it was No Mercy 2007, Orton gets awarded the title by Vince only to lose it minutes after to HHH. He looked so weak and pathetic, Orton won it back later in the night but only after HHH defended it against Umaga, all in the same night.

Kane. He "won" it with help and lost it the next night. Then he apparently won the World Heavyweight title.
Either of them were horrible booking. Mostly because A) I didn't even realize he won a second heavyweight title and B) his first title was marred in controversy and lasted less than 24 hours.

Randy Orton's last reign or one before was particularly abysmal. I mean he's Randy ing Orton right, and the shenanigans he was booked through were atrocious.

I kind of feel like the whole chicken-crap heel gimmick should be reserved for mid-card heels and your World Title Holder should be booked as competent.

Isn't the point really that it is inspired booking? Flair was incredibly weak in the 80s but that is what made him a great character

Does noone else see how this is building him? He got some decent attacks on lesnar. He DOES have it and we ALL know it.
Its BOOKING. and hes following the same formula as many others have had to go along with, imo hes playing HIS ROLE great that creative produced to him etc.
Remember people, KAYFEBE!!! follow the PROGRAM and its STORIES and stop pissing on people who you arent smarking for.
As others have now FINALLY admitted. We respect cena the person and all his work, yet hate his creative ddirection . stop pissing on these people, if they truely were shyte they wouldn't be in the company.

My cynicism says that you're giving WWE too much credit in assuming they're doing anything right on purpose. And if they were planning on doing it that way, then yes, that would have been good. Unfortunately, ratings are sagging and now Big Match John™ is gonna have to be the savior so we'll never know if that was the plan. There's ZERO chance the end game with Rollins as champ is/was to lose the strap to Cena. If WWE books this right, Cena would be the first credible title defense for Rollins. Seth needs to go over without any help. As a heel, I'm cool with a low blow/roll up to win. As long as he beats Cena without ANYONE helping, there's still time for him to be a credible champion. Well, I hope you're right my friend, but I have some serious doubts it ends any other way than...

Seth's storytelling and his matches with Ambrose have been great. But the quality of opponents have been HORRID. WWE doesnt have any big babyfaces outside Cena to give a run against Seth. Obviously not gonna have UT or Sting against him. So who exactly does that leave? WWE is in desperate need of legit main event babyfaces.

Probably The Miz, although as much as I don't care for Rollins, he's miles better in ring than Miz ever was.

He's a heel. The last time I checked heels cheat to win. Every match he's won he's just got by. That's what a heel does. I personally think he's doing a great job.
