To be 100% technical, I would say Rollins has had far better reigns than Mysterio in 2011, or Hardy after the ladder match with Edge, or Ziggler in 2010 against Edge, just saying hahah.

Why is his reign bad? He's the chickencrap heel. Has been since his initial heel turn.

Randy Orton as champion was losing to everybody going into WMXXX. That always made me wonder wtf are they doing. Christian was absolutely treated like garbage. Jericho's undisputed run was very sad. I just don't think creative has any idea how to book a heel besides chicken-**** coward, who doesn't remember how to wrestle.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Jericho's first title reign.
That sucked too.

Daniel Bryan's run after WMXXX was horrible with Brie's "acting" if you wanna call it that and fueding with Kane of all people. Sometimes I feel like WWE is trolling me personally, every time someone I like gets the big belt, they're given lackluster run. Yet they know exactly how to book Cena as World Champion?

I think the Miz is a better example for a terrible reign.

RVD had a terrible reign, I was so hyped for him to finally be champ then 3 weeks later it was over. At least with Seth someone I like is holding it for a long time.

I don't really count RVD because he effed that one up himself.
Blame the Ohio State Highway Patrol...and Sabu's stash of weed.

To be fair, Cena's the only guy they know how to book as champion (you could argue Lesnar too, but he's booked the same with the title or without)

I think up to Battleground, WWE was doing a really nice job with Rollins. He was getting wins with help and just taking all of the credit. That's the kind of heel that people can hate. He looked like a total joke against Brock though and last night was a ing disaster. You don't let your WWE Champion tap out to the US Champion. You have him give Cena an eye rake, or hit Cena with a chair, anything to not look like a clown in front of your entire audience. Being a weasel and being a laughing stock is a pretty thin line and they've crossed into the latter with Rollins. That being said, everything from Mania through MITB was pretty awesome imo. I guess we'll see how it goes moving forward. Rollins losing the title at SummerSlam is about the absolute worst possible situation I can think of right now. Either by Cena cleanly winning, or Sheamus cashing in; I'd rather have Hornswoggle as champion than see either of those two with the World Title. This is how WWE books heels now. It's pretty ing terrible, especially when you look at what a good job EC3 and Jay Lethal have been doing in their roles over the last year. WWE just doesn't get it, or Vince doesn't get it, or whoever is in his ear just doesn't get it. WWE just keeps doing the same sh*t over-and-over-and-over-and-over again. Like it's some great mystery why people have progressively just stopped watching WWE over the last decade.

Didn't Seth get pinned by Jamie Noble a few weeks ago?
That was worse.

Other than that, it's not that bad.

Are you guys forgetting that Ric Flair made an entire career of being the chickencrap heel champion? He always had the 4 Horsemen bail him out. And for those of you that loved the nWo days - how many main events ended in a clean finish on Nitro rather than a whole nWo beatdown of the face?
Seth's playing his roll perfectly. Super Cena made him tap out last night, but who was surprised? Especially when it looks like Seth broke his nose with a stiff knee. Cena must've been so pissed and called the match from that point on, Seth had to do what he was told.

I think WWE books certain champions like that to prevent them from becoming the cool heel. They know the fans want to cheer Rollins, so they make him out to be the slimy-win-at-all-costs champion. That way he continues to get boo'ed.
He's booked much like Triple H & Flair have been almost their entire careers. It's an old school approach.

Seth looks like the coward champion who sneaks by. He's doing it perfectly. Not every heel has to dominate..... Someone gets it.

Completely forgot about RVD hanging out with Sabu, what's wrong with me.
On that note Big Show had a pretty bad run in 2002, all I remember is he held it to drop it to Angle and nothing else

I think Seth has been a great champion. He's the cowardly heel who barely scrapes by every title defense and he's doing it just fine. If he was a strong heel champion who mostly won clean, people would probably cheer him.
The tap out vs Cena works fine for me as Rollins can play it off by saying he had nothing to lose, and he has a better title anyway so he didn't want to risk injury so tapped quickly. IMO it would've been worse if Cena pinned him. There will be less of this "worst champion ever" talk when he beats Cena next month at Summerslam. Guarantee it.
