I'd like to know how everyone feels about RSC ropes, I was going to buy them months ago but was scared of the turnbuckles caving, some Facebook people from a group told me that I need not worry, and he provided pics with the ropes having been on for months.
A second opinion would be nice, so I came here to ask. it may be a dated question but I need to know.

If you need new ropes for your ring, email Wickedcool toys. That's how I got mine after my cat chewed through them. If you just want new ropes, then yes buy them.

I have several sets of the Ringside Ropes and I think they are way better than the ones provided by WCT or Mattel!
They offer a more natural ring rope feel and don't sag down when you prop the figures on them. They also provide a very nice pop when springboarding of the top rope!

I have several sets of the Ringside Ropes and I think they are way better than the ones provided by WCT or Mattel! They offer a more natural ring rope feel and don't sag down when you prop the figures on them. They also provide a very nice pop when springboarding of the top rope! Now that's what I wanted to hear, when I have someone run the ropes I like a nice spring, so far the only rings that gave me that were Jakks' rings, Mattel's basic rings (the originals, before they loosened the ropes) and custom rings. |

I've got three sets so far: blue, white, and red/white/blue. I think they're great. Much, much improved over Mattel's and Wicked Cool Toys' ropes that came with the ESR and ASR. My blue and red/white/blue ones I got when they first came out. They are tight. But there's been no caving on my posts. Months later I got the white ones and they feel just a tad looser than the ones before. I'm not sure if it's a random thing or if they're being manufactured not as tight to prevent warping or anything. But again, I never had that problem. In fact, I like those ropes so much, I ordered the black ones and I am thinking about ordering another pair of the white ones.
Highly recommend.

Do they fit the Mattel regular rings? Not the Elite scale ones.

They are made for the Elite scale ring and I believe they would fit a RSR but might be loose, I haven't had my RSR set up in a few months but I wouldn't see why they wouldn't work to some extent.

I ordered two sets the day they went up and my ring posts began to slightly cave about a week later. I posted pics and RSC contacted me and had me send them back in. They compensated by giving me a few extra colors and haven't had any problems since. To the OP, highly recommend. Gives the ropes a more realistic spring and figures can stand on the ropes without the sagging. Plus get to customize your ring how you want it. |

I'm thinking of buying a set to repair my old Hasbro ring, I'll just cut them down..... anyone see any issues with this?
Dumb, dumb cats...... what is their obsession with chewing on these ropes?

They're a lot better than the original ones, much tighter. My turnbuckles have not been affected at all and I've had my NXT yellow ropes on there since I got them months ago.
