I really wish the WWE would start announcing the cards weeks in advance. The last few years they really stick to this "Lets take weeks to arrange and finally announce a match" As opposed to the more interesting book the match and creatively build it up for the PPV route. It really really hurts the product. I think so, too. Especially cause I'm watching through 1998 Raw at the moment and right after each PPV the next Rawi is literally Vince McMahon and the commentary team announcing and hyping the next PPV.

It sucks because they worry so much about making RAW a start to finish TV show, trying to have stories progress in a night when all they should be doing is building towards the following PPV. But I guess thats what you get when theres so much of an emphasis on TV ratings and not so much PPV buys, especially with the Network.

Throwing my thought out there, I disagree. I wouldn't buy into an angle if the match was made without reason for having said match. Random raw matches are fine. I just dont like the idea of a match being made at the rumble ready for fast lane when nothing has warranted that match.

Well after RAW and the announcement of the double titles match, I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm hoping for a Sheamus cash in

I feel that way watching the shows I was praising as well.

If they're really plugging this title for title thing as winner takes all then im fairly certain Sheamus is cashing in...

I can't believe how much I've soured on Sheamus in the last year or so. I went from really enjoying most of what he does to nearly groaning every time he comes out. The idea of him being champion right now is just about one of the most uninteresting things I can think of with regards to the title scene.

I really just can't get invested in the stipulation. I know Rollins and Cena will have a great match, but why have one man carry both titles, especially with the PPV after Summerslam being Night of Champions?

So far, is it just Taker vs Lesnar for four hours?

It really really freaking confuses me how everything storyline wise and match wise is happening/ is going to happen for this PPV, I don't even know what the to expect. I'm gonna be there live and I'm not gonna let anything ruin my excitement but god damnit if sheamus cashes in that's gonna suck major bunghole

Both confirmed on SmackDown.

I'm praying that Brock vs Taker ends in taker having Brock up for the third tombstone, when the lights go out, they come on and Stings in the ring and he drops taker with the baseball bat and Brock gets the win.
I PRAY that Cena Vs Rollins is 20-25 minutes in when Sheamus comes down to cash in, Cena has Seth on his shoulders. Sheamus brogue Kicks Cena, Seth throws Sheamus out the ring and Seth Pedigrees Cena who's stirring to his feet to win both titles. I don't want to see Cena or Sheamus as champion right now

Why dont we have a Title match yet?! Are they seriously gonna wait till a week before the event to officially announce if we are having a title match or not?! Are they relying on Cena THAT much?!
Its less than 2 weeks till this second biggest PPV of the year, and the World Champion is still not on the card...

If Taker vs. Lesnar goes longer than a Ronda Rousey fight it'll be an automatic fail.

I have really low expectations for this show right now.

This is the weakest Summerslam card in a LONG time. Like the guy above said, I have very little expectations for it.
