Finally picked up my horseman box set. Ended up going to 2 targets as both had several with really bad paint jobs. I hadn't paid big attention until today, but there is a quality control issue on this set.
I also noticed some bad paint jobs on the new world tag titles. Be on the lookout if you are picking up either.

I haven't noticed any bad paint jobs on the Horsemen set except for that one Flair that was posted on here missing the paint on the hair around his ears. I think in a was Old School Collector's figure. But other than that one figure none I have seen had bad paint jobs.

The only problem I've had with this set is Tully's left foot. The copyright notice on the bottom of the foot is completely hanging off the figure.

There is a quality control issue on all of the figures lately. There have been problems since the start, as there are in most mass-produced items, but it's been getting worse and worse.

I picked one with the least poor paint apps and didn't realize that the legs were mis-cut from the mold on both Tully and Windham. They both have a significant gap where the hip pegs down into the thigh piece. Windham has plastic missing, like a wedge out of his hip. Arn had some sloppy paint, and Tully has an an crunch so floppy that he falls backwards if I try to tilt him slightly. He's like a puppet.
So basically, I paid fifty bucks and only Flair was in good condition. I almost would've have rather paid full elite retail for each to get accessories and better QC. It really seems like they cut corners (out of legs) to make this set so cheap at retail.

Finally! I thought I was the only one to realize the crappie job on the new classic tag belts. I didn't want to say anything because I know that we've been waiting so long for them to be rerealesed and I should be happy..

I didn't open my HOF Four Horsemen box set yet. Paint apps are good, but Tully legs are warped. I also saw a lot of Yoko's with bad paint apps recently.

I really hope the quality issue is brought up in the Q and A and comic con. I'm tired of bowed legs, poor paint apps, and loose joints. Especially with the rising cost of figures.

I've seen the missing paint behind the wars and the painted front teeth only (like the 2pk Roddy) so many times.

Saw a Yoko the other day with no iris or pupil on his left eye. And plenty of recent figures have been having my #1 pet peeve, with massively chipped eyebrows.

I have a Tully whose legs don't fit on the hip piece correctly also. It is a gap between the pieces.
I would run into this issue doing fixups but never on a new figure. I give them to my kid to play with so I wasn't too bothered by it. Can probably be fixed with the right pieces.

When my wife went to pick up the Horsemen set she said they all had bad paint. She picked out the best looking (I trained her well) and there were still some issues.

I passed this set because of it, I'm not too picky about it but the sets I've seen were really sloppy.

I passed up in the as well. After awhile I just settled for one with a blotch on flair head.

No paint issues for me but as others have said warped legs.
Really getting sick of figures that won't stand up on their own. Have some that are almost bent over backwards to stand up.

They gave us four elites for $50 dollars
There's your explanation.
