Girlfriend? I've never heard of that figure. Is it an exclusive?

I was a little embarrassed at first to share this addiction with my lady, not gonna lie. When I first moved in with her I knew I'd eventually have to let her in on it. And that time came a lot sooner than I'd like ha ha. I went on the hunt one day, hit it hard. I told her I had to go to the store for a few items. Well she was keeping track of the time, cause all women have insecurities and that's what they do ha ha. Well, she ended thinking something completely negative, like infidelity. I'd never do that, this is the woman of my dreams!! She was convinced but I can tell that she wasn't completely. Later that evening I was popping a few tops and said it. I'm gonna make sure she knows for sure that I'm not doing anything behind her back. I took her downstairs and opened a box and said, baby this is what I was up to all afternoon. I was on the hunt, not for new snatch, but for 6" little plastic men ha ha. She just looked and me and said, Awe baby, that's so cute!! Starts pulling them out and telling me which ones she liked and who she doesn't, even asked how and when I was gonna display them and said I needed more divas ha ha. Now she hunts with me!! It makes the addiction some much more easier to deal with knowing that I've got the support of my beautiful, soon to be wife!!

My girl legit loves it. She goes hunting with me and when we find a figure we've been searching for she gets excited. I.e. A few months ago we found a lone Zeb in TRU and she literally jumped and screamed "OMG we got Zeb!!!". The employees thought she was nuts.
I'll come back from a shower and catch her playing with them. She also always talks about how we have to have an epic display room when we get a house (which is in the near future since I just landed an awesome career).

My girlfriend doesn't mind but I only keep one short shelf of my 1996 collection and my Big Eagle replica in our shared office so it's not too overwhelming. The rest of my collection is in the basement next to my custom work area. She said wouldn't mind if I put a detolf in the office, but I know she'd prefer it not be there so I keep it to a minimum.

My wife encourages it. She even pops into TRU every now then to see if any new figs are in, I know she finds the hunt as addictive as I do.

My wife hates it. She hates how much I spend on figures, and honestly, so do I after crunching the numbers. Life is expensive with children. I have a dedicated room for my collection and all my wrestling DVDs and figures hidden in an IKEA book case with frosted doors.

I've been married 15 years. And my wife don't have much to say about it. It's not good or bad to her.

My boyfriend tolerates it, but he probably would prefer if I didn't. I guess it doesn't help that I started when I came across the HOF Warrior figure in late December and now have around 100 figures. If I eased more into, I think it would have been better. Also, I dragged him to every Target/Kmart/TRU in Chicago in January by bus so that didn't help.

I may be the only woman on here... I'm sure there are other women on here or lurking. A lot of my ebay orders for older legends were from women so they are definitely in to collecting.

My girlfriend tolerates it. She's not a fan and I know it annoys her that I spend money on figures that she sees as a waste, but I point out that she buys things I think are a waste so she accepts it.
I cant complain too much though, she has bought me figures for xmas/birthdays etc.. if i've asked, and she has let me display some of my figures in our bedroom in an Ikea detolf unit.
But if she had her way she would rather me sell my collection and put the money towards a wedding. No chance!

A lot of you are lucky. My now ex- was fine with it at first, but my "wrestling obsession" supposedly drove her away.

@rflairfan1 awesome to see a woman collector!! How does your man handle your collecting if you don't mind me asking? Single so no issues there. Back in 2009 I had about a hundred or so figures. MOC and loose I used to string them up with fish line with my best friend (guy) in their finishers or my favorite moves. But I lost my job so I sold them all. Some of which I will kill to have back, but I needed money to live. So in the last couple of months I have started collecting again. My collection isn't huge compared to some but I only get my favorite's. But it is way more expensive now then when I was collecting back in the day. lol.

I don't have a Girlfriend, but my ex was always cool with it. She even bought me a few for Christmas one year. She's a super lady, and we're still good friends.
