Should've had him in his Stalker attire - camo pants, wwf shirt with no sleeves and handlebar moustache from survivor series... That would be the shiznit!!!!

If they would have left off the beard and put his hair down, the resemblance is there. Should have made him more around this era...

I have to disagree. Watch GAB 90', the fig looks exact to his look in that match, u can disagree w the era choice, but as far as execution goes for the era it represents, it is a well executed figure overall. Ideally, it could use a flabbier torso by a hair, but honestly, all of the figs are executed well in the Horsemen set and I think, especially for its price. It is likely the coolest pack set Mattel has done thus far.

His boots werent red, he hardly featured in the 6 man tag, and the look couldnt define his career less. Im literally buying the set for the other 3 figures

He did wear boots that were red and black like on the figure. Pics were posted back when the figure was first shown of him in this exact attire. Starecade 88 he wore the black and red boots also, but he had white wrist tape and a glove

Curious for the more old school fans here. I feel like including this version of Barry is similar to having Snuka with boots and Slaughter in the blue tights -- accurate yes, but not quite the first thing that pops into people's mind when they think of him. What do you all think?

The outfit is exactly what he wore as the Widow-maker during his brief WWE run. He even had his facial hair a lil thicker. So in that regard, the figure is fine. Problem is... when you say Barry Windham, most think of his run as a Horsemen, which is what this set is supposed to represent. White wrist tape, thinner or no facial hair, and his hair down would have been ideal for a Horsemen Windham. That being said, I'm just glad to finally have him in my collection.

That is pretty much what I think when I think Horsemen Windham. Just I think of his hair down. But if I just think non-4H Windham I think US Express.

This IS Barry Windham, just not the most pictured. I don't blame MDT though, I LOVE that they went with a different look of his. Besides, we had the pics of the set for what? Two months now? And people are just NOW complaining about it? Jeez, some of you are NEVER going to be happy.

The figure doesn't even remotely resemble Barry Windham.

forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/307102/new-barry-windham-figureI made a thread/poll back when Bill said he would "like" to do a Windham (which clearly even though he denied he knew he was gonna do cause it was clearly already in the works) and the ponytail Widowmaker look ran away with it. Id love to get a hair down baby face look one day, maybe a battle pack with Flair or something but this is the ideal Windham for me. Reminds me of his Galoob figure which I loved!!

I'm sure we will get a solo release eventually, hopefully hair down w bangs and maybe yellow or blue trunks w a glove

It's not the worst sculpt ever. Remember not all of these figures are scanned. Some are sculpted due to superstars being dead or just not scanned. I personally think the Big Bossman sculpt is one of the worst. I look at the new Dean Ambrose and think it's one of the best. I think Jakks head scans seemed better more times than Mattel. Mattel as of late has been killing it. I love the Elite figures and they have by far been my favorite wrestling figures ever produced. I've collected figures from the time I was a kid. I'm 41 now and in my personal opinion, Mattel has produced the best overall figures. Again, just my opinion.
