Anyone tried using the belt from this figure ? Jakks did the belt better, might be a little too small though. Shame if it is, this is how it should have looked

i don't understand why they didn't mold a belt buckle like the NWO macho figure. It looks jojo, like someone ripped the plate off of a championship belt and just put it on the hogan figure backwards.
fingers crossed that NWO Hogan isn't a repaint of this figure and coming w/ a black version of that nubby belt

Ok well lets be honest if we got the good work out belt his bandana wouldn't have been removable or something so just be happy with the second choice of work out belts

That's a shame The more I look at it the more of an isor that belt is on the Mattel Hogan, really ruins it.

Has nothing to do with the bandana We know Mattel. It would have been either the better belt and a molded on bandana or the belt they gave us and a removable bandana. It just always seems like those are the answer they give us.

Be happy that the figure had multiple accessories (removable bandana, removable shirt, removable crucifix, weightlifting belt). I also believe that it is very possible that Mattel could've just decided to not give the belt and nothing to replace it. So to me, it's better than nothing.

They should have gone with a new mold for the weightlifting belt. Even Jakks did it.

I think Mattel's purpose was to make an adjustable weight belt so that it could fit Hogan's waist both with and without the shirt on. If they did a weight belt with just one notch on it, then collectors would only be able to display it one way.

JAKKS belt fits great. U have to keep it over the shirt for it to stay, but it looks perfect!

They probably did that so they can reuse the belt on larger torsos. I think that's silly, because the pegs will be on the last holes. It will look like a person with a big head wearing a Snap Back.

All the belt needs is a buckle, I'm sure you could find a tiny doll belt buckle to slide over a couple of holes on the belt.

A buckle from a GI Joe WWII gas mask bag. Hogan's belt is too wide to slide through. I had to cut and bend the metal and loop the ends into the holes.

That looks good. And I do have the Joe, but I don't want to break off the buckle.
