I believe it is slightly different in color, but really not noticeable at all in person. also, Hogan was missing something. NOW it's thr perfect WM IX Hulkster! Phenomenal picture! I saw this in the weight belt thread and wanted to just saw again how awesome he looks here. He really doesn't look too scrawny I think most people are bummed at the torso choice for Hogan, myself included, I can't help but recall all the times we as a community have questioned a particular wrestler getting a torso that is too big or muscular than their real life counterpart...and we're told that it's, for lack of a better word, an ego thing and is hard to use a "smaller" torso after a larger one has been used on previous figures. I wonder why this was the exception? one thing people need to remember - he WAS a bit scrawny in 1993. with the steroid scandal, he stopped taking them, and his weight and mass significantly dropped ( they played it up at king of the Ring that he was leaner and faster than ever to counter Yokozuna's girth). even when he came into WCW he was still smaller . only around 1996 and during the nWo days did he bulk back up again, presumably on the juice perhaps?

Love the accurate detailing on Hogan's wristbands. It's awesome when they take time to get stuff like that right. Two questions about the Hogan head: A) Does the skin tone match the DM Hogan? B) Are headswaps easy to do on Elites? I've never tried. i'll look at the DM today. heads are easy to switch. just heat them up, and they pop off.

Funny how there is no first time in the line notification on the packaging though.

Look at a pic of him at WM 6 and a pic at WM 9...He might have been around the 280-290 mark instead of the 300lbs mark. The dude was still huge.

Not exactly huge but yeah I see what you mean Best case scenario is they should have used the Austin/Bulldog torso...That way they could have still had girth but also didnt have him as big as his DM...if that was the way they were going. Having him use the same torso that Flair, Sandow and I think and newer version of Bret Hart used was just a terrible choice. My only concern is if doing a torso swap with the DM if it will have the same height to it.

Hulk was def similar in the 90s and having him next to the dm will set be a good display of his size changing.

Its not that they used a smaller torso it the choice of torso.

The torso looks good minus him having abs. img

I dont have the Hogan in hand and I could be wrong but all 3 use the same torso (I think Tito does too)....Hogan was smaller but didnt look like these guys.

That torso on Hogan would've been alright had we not recently seen it used for Flair, Razor along with the likes of ADR & Sandow. I would've been fine with Bulldog's torso since it looks like a junior version of the DM Hogan torso anyway.

Maybe not Triple H lean but lean. Maybe Austin's torso or the one Windham uses but with larger shoulders? My biggest gripe is how cheap the lifting belt looks. That is something I will say both Jakks and Toy Biz did better. lol
