But...the point is to NOT tuck in your neck. Tell that Yoshi. You're missing the point. Your original post said that the WWE talent better learn to tuck their chin, which is what you're NOT supposed to do when taking the Styles Clash. I'm not even sure what you were trying to say.

Whatever he is making in NJPW is chump change compared to WWE. AJ is said to be making $400,000+ per year between New Japan and various independent bookings. There is zero chance of them offering him something that could match those numbers considering the reports last time around that he was being offered around $70,000. He isn't going to take pay cuts like other "top" talents (Steen, Sami, Itami, Balor, etc) because he doesn't necessarily "want" to be in the WWE like them. Shockingly enough.. everyone doesn't dream about wrestling for the WWE. There are guys like AJ who is just wanting to wrestle and make enough to provide for his family.

The styles clash can ing stay where it is in Indy land. Cesaros neutralizer is too close anyway. AJ is good enough to use any move as his finish and get over. That calf killer submission Always looked nasty to me. AJ in NXT would be great but seriously the last we need of these Indy darlings making the jump. The future doesn't lie in an entire roster of 35+ year old vet talent. They need to push young guys on That brand and have the seasoned Indy vets be the ones who put them over.

I disagree with you a lot, but you pretty much summed it up here.

While I can't speak for NJPW...I know his price on the indies is between 3-4k per show depending on where it is. I'm sure he makes decent coin in ROH too.
