I am saddened to find out today that it's closing it's doors (I just watched the Vince McMahon announcement on Raw) My first WWE show, we went for my older brother's 7th birthday(I was 4 years old). All I can remember from the show was that my father took me ringside on his shoulders to see Kamala up close, and when he looked at me and slapped his belly, I tried going in reverse and strangled my father lol. I also remember one of the Bushwhackers biting Shawn Michaels' backside. I can remember Macho Man's entrance too. WWF @ Long Island, NY - Nassau Coliseum - August 1, 1992 (6,000) Bushwhacker Luke pinned the Brooklyn Brawler Shawn Michaels pinned Bushwhacker Butch WWF IC Champion Bret Hart defeated Kamala (w/ Harvey Wippleman & Kimchee) via disqualification when Kimchee interfered; after the bout, Kamala accidentally splashed Wippleman when Bret pulled him in front of him Sgt. Slaughter & Crush (sub. for Davey Boy Smith) defeated the Mountie & Repo Man after Mountie accidentally shocked his own partner with the shock stick when Crush moved out of the way Tatanka pinned Rick Martel with a roll up The Nasty Boys defeated Owen Hart & Koko B. Ware when Saggs pinned Koko with an elbowsmash off the top WWF World Champion Randy Savage pinned Ric Flair (w/ Mr. Perfect) at 20:00 with a roll up; Jim Duggan was the guest referee for the bout Source: www.thehistoryofwwe.com/nassau90s.htmThis is also the arena which held the in-ring return of Shawn Michaels and Brock Lesnar's first WWE world title win over The Rock @ss '02, IMO the greatest SS of all time.

I remember the whole JCP Bunkhouse Stampede mess. The show was a disaster. It started an hour earlier than what was printed on the tickets, and for whatever reason everyone on the show seemed to be working in slow motion. This was the last PPV Crockett did before the sale to Turner. Since Starrcade that year the handwriting was on the wall. Crockett had gone bankrupt. So nobody was motivated at this show. This show was the very end of Crockett's 1983-88 glory years. Plus, the entire card consisted of only 4 matches.

Did anybody see the video of Vince addressing the crowd before Raw? I've temporarily switched from Windows Phone to Android and I haven't gotten everything figured out yet, if I can't figure out how to post the video here I'll post a link to it.

Zack Ryder did a 450 splash there once.
He missed and lost, naturally.
