Crazy to think he'd be 50 years old now.
Much like his career, he deserved to be WWF Champion and now he deserves to be Hall of Fame... hopefully, it's only a matter of time before his family (cough, wife) realizes it is time to honor him, despite the horrific tragedy that happened with him.

I was fortunate to meet him at Autorama '99, two months before the accident. He was the first wrestler I ever met and had him sign a photo collage I made of him, I was starstruck by him even though he just looked like a average guy on the outside. Still just as gutted about him now as I was back when JR announced he'd died.
I hope Martha forgives WWE in some way someday so we can see him immortalized in a Hall of Fame induction and merchandise.

Seem like a very nice guy juding from the stories other wrestlers had about him. It's still terrible that he died like how he did.
R.I.P Owen Hart.

I was 11 years old. I will never forget the Raw the following night. Feeling the emotions of the wrestlers was alot for me at 11.
That was one PPV I wish I hadn't ordered. The fact that the show continued blew my mind, and later on when JR and King announced Owen had indeed passed away had given me such a twisted gut.
I miss Owen. I actually enjoyed him and Jeff Jerrett as a team. But that cage match with Bret will always be my go-to Owen Hart match.

R.I.P Owen.
What's even more heartbreaking is that he never really wanted to even be a wrestler, but he was so good at it...amazing to think he'd be 50, which is how old Stu was when he was born...

16 years!?!?. OMG, where does the time go?
Such a surreal night, it still affects me to think about it.
R.I.P. Rocket.
I hope we see the day that he will be honored by being inducted into the Hall Of Fame.

Everything you said here including your age and your horrible feeling is exactly what I went through that night, I thought that his death was an angle(out of denial) until J.R. announced it, I was convinced it was a work because WWE at the time were pushing the envelope with shock(Bossman hanging, Mankind/Taker HIAC etc.) I cried in my pillow that night(maybe out of shock looking back on it). I never reacted that way towards a wrestling death before or after.
