See I can't do that. I try to please Cait as much as I can companion wise but there is a limit to how bad I'll make my characters. Just can't do it. I managed to stay mostly good and still get in Cait's pants. Just pick a lot of locks, and refuse to give stimpacks to random wastelanders who ask for them. You'll get there Well that wasn't my goal, I just wanted her perk, but if that's your thing Mr. Popadopolis, then by all means my good sir.

so I sold off a bunch of the weapons I don't use because they were just slowing me down. Didn't make much caps off them but still better than taking up inventory space. I have yet to do any mods or crafting but I'd really like to get into it. I never use my power armor because it feels like a pain in the ass to go back and forth to store it. The BOS told me I was getting my own for becoming a knight but I already had my first set of it from the beginning of the game, so I'm interested in seeing how their version is better.
Right now I'm level 22 with like 22 quests to do, lol. I have yet to find any better armor that isn't power armor. It seems no matter what I wear I still take a crapload of damage.

Lol, you either wear power armor or upgrade regular armor. Eventually Lengendary enemies will drop armor, take that and upgrade the crap out of it. Or there's always drugs for damage resistance. OR just get all the health perks. Regardless, you're always going to take damage, but being able to one shot them in the head with a bat is an equalizer. Also, I'm assuming you're aware you can store weapons in your workbench/containers? That way you don't have to sell them? Stuff like the Minigun and Fat Man are expensive and rare to find, so storing them for when you may need them later is definitely better long-term than selling it.

I usually just have my companion carry my stuff. I know I can store everything but if a weapon i don't use is just going to sit in storage then I may as well just drop it. I'll have to look into doing upgrades on my armor.

I just pick up all the shitty pipe pistols and scrap them for screws and whatnot, so I can upgrade my real guns lol.

I already have too much money from the old money glitch and if I ever get worried about money again I can just do the Dogmeat glitch. If im not carrying it then it gets scrapped for parts. also just storing the stuff in your workbench makes it parts when you need it.

so i finally found shaun. figuring out how to get into the institute was annoying, this game really gives you 0 helpful instructions when it comes to the workshops but there are enough guides out there online to help. I also couldn't figure out how to find the railroad without the help from a youtube video.
but anyway, I still enjoy this game a lot. the complaints about it I do have aren't enough to not make me want to play it. theres just so much to cover in it that I could see myself making a lot more characters and replaying it a lot.

I just started walking the freedom trail and stumbled upon the Railroad lol yeah, I didn't even know where the freedom trail started so I had no idea what follow that meant lol. But then when I watched the video it said you complete both of those quests at the same time just by following the freedom trail. I already had the North Church discovered and still didn't even realize thats where it lead to. Gave the power armor a second chance because I found a spare set randomly in the common wealth locked in a crate of a truck so I used it to help Deacon kill the synths. I keep getting distracted by little random settlements of raiders, gunner sand super mutants to kill. The brother hood of steel seems to be everywhere now killing everything so sometimes that back up helps. I know eventually the game will make me pick just one faction but right now I'm technically in all of them, even the institute technically. Also on a random note I love when NPCs you're talking to interact with NPCs that are following you. It always bugged me how in Fallout 3 every npc ignored who was following me, except for the end obviously.

beat the main story
I love the railway rifle, had so much fun pinning enemies heads to the walls/ceiling. looking forward to making new characters to try siding with different factions.

The Railroad was my favorite of the endings personally. Everyone seems to love the Brotherhood ending, but I think that's just because they're the Brotherhood.

Finally Platinumed the game & done every quest possible.
My favourite ending (and I'm confident its the canon one) is the Minutemen for sure.

I'm more into it now that I'm doing my second play through. I really miss the karma system. I'm trying to be a dick but there's really no way to. The sarcastic responses are pretty funny though.
I'm looting everything now and its making my life so much easier. I also grabbed the armor and gun mod perks early on so I'm going to start getting into crafting and upgrading armor. And I've been knocking out quests pretty quick instead of letting them build up so the side ones aren't overwhelming, they are actually pretty fun.

If anybody was able to make it to the end without having it spoiled, kudos to them. I had it spoiled for me like 10 times. Not that I really cared that much because I still planned on playing it regardless. I think he said he used mods but look how crazy this settlement is.

Anyone know if drugs/armor affect perk requirements? As in, if I'm level 3 in charisma, but need a perk that requires level 4, can I do drugs that up it and purchase it? Or nah
